Sand & Sky has quickly risen to becoming one of Australia’s most sought after beauty brands – for a very good reason.

Get a glow from within with this face serum from Sand & Sky

The Australian Emu Apple Dreamy Glow Drops is a Hyaluronic acid-based serum that is perfect for dry winter skin.

Locking in moisture and retaining hydration with five types of HA, this water-like serum also gives skin a noticeable, dreamy glow due to the inclusion of the world’s richest source of Vitamin C, Kakadu Plum – which is a definite need in dull, winter months.

A light, berry aroma makes this a pleasure for the senses to apply. Further inclusions of Australian superfood ingredient Emu Apple helps to protect against free radicals while supporting collagen production.

The watery texture does make this a little tricky to apply. To combat, apply little by little in sections on the face, massaging in as you go.

Alkira Kangaroo Paw and Macadamia Hydrating Facial Oil, RRP$ 19.95

From Australian natural beauty brand Alkira comes this delectable kangaroo paw and macadamia facial oil.

Fourteen plant and nut oils are included in this formula, their antioxidant rich properties helping to moisturize and soften winter skin.

From the founders of Sukin, Alkira is all new A-Beauty brand with quality, affordable products.

The oil-based formula of this serum also stands out compared to others – the oil allows for a much faster and more effective absorption that water-based serums, while also balancing oil production.

As such, the product melts seamlessly into the skin, but it does leave an oily residue. This makes for a perfect night time treatment, although it can be used in both morning and night routines.

The hero ingredient here is Kangaroo Paw, an Australian plant that is high in antioxidants  and fatty acids, helping to encourage skin rejuvenation through cell renewal and growth. When combined with Macadamia Oil, this leaves skin looking noticeably plumper and smoother, with an added glow.

La Mav Intense Moisture Nightly Repair Nectar, RRP $59

La Mav is an organic skincare brand that prides itself on using bio-actives, which are the  natural molecules found in plants, scientifically proven to provide anti-aging properties and combat wrinkles.

Their award-winning Intense Moisture Nightly Repair Nectar certainly delivers on quality. An oil-based serum, this benefits both dehydrated and dry skin, while also targeting anti-aging and refining the complexion.

Further hero ingredients include Bisabolol, Chamomile Oil, Avocado Oil and Jojoba Oil which immediately sooth dehydrated skin, making this a perfect remedy for winter.

The only negative? After one use, the eyedropper top was unable to be screwed back on to the bottle.
