Dear Bondi Beauty,
I need some serious help with my lashes and brows. I know I can get tattooing done for my brows and have lash extensions, but I’d rather go natural and see if I can help them grow naturally. The problem is I don’t know where to start. Which products actually work? Can you recommend some you know have great results? And how long does it take to start seeing results?
Anastasia, Parramatta

Hi Anastasia,

Investing in the right lash and brow serum is not for the faint hearted. If you’re looking for an instant result, then mastering the use of a brow pencil, or using mascaras that add length are the best short term option. If you are willing to wait for lasting result, and stick to a daily routine, any of the formulas below are worth your time.

For Lashes:

Try the Lash Rescue Bundle Lash Serum & Growth Mascara RRP $119.95 created using vegan and cruelty-free ingredients designed to help grow lashes long and make brows thick and bushy. Lash Rescue was designed by Melbourne-based lash and brow tech called Lucy (waiting on PR to confirm her last name – can’t find it anywhere).

She designed the formulation of the product for her clients, and when she saw the results after only 6 weeks, in 2018 she launched the product online for anyone to have access to the same formula.

The serum can be used nightly, after cleansing. Make sure you have absolutely no products on the lashes to ensure the serum can work its magic, nourishing, protecting and helping lashes grow as you sleep. It may be pricey, but it lasts.

Part of this bundle also includes the Growth Mascara. The mascara can be used daily as a replacement for your everyday mascara. Using ingredients including collagen, pumpkin seed extract and vitamin E, this mascara will not only coat the lashes in a lovely shade of black, it also hydrates and helps them grow throughout the day, by feeding them the right ingredients.

BB writer Rebecca has been trialling the mascara serum and mascara bundle for 4 weeks now, she has seen significant growth in her natural lashes, especially at the outer edge of the eye.

“I feel like I’m wearing extensions on the outer parts of my lashes, they are so long and lovely, this serum and mascara is next level and worth the price”, Rebecca explains.

Another great lash serum is the Can Grow Long Lashes Eyelash Enhancer RRP $89 which has proven results within 12 weeks.
