Best Podcasts To Listen To On Your Commute

In a world where it seems people constantly need stimulation; podcasts are our new best friend.

While of course, jamming out to ‘Good As Hell’ by Lizzo is a great way to get psyched up before a night out or on your way to the gym, there’s only so much hair tossing a girl can take.

That’s where podcasts come in handy. When you’re sick of all your music, podcasts are a great replacement.

Whether you prefer inspirational #girlboss content or hilarious boy advice, there’s something out there for every kind of listener, and you will arguably be more stimulated than just listening to mind-numbing music.

The easiest way to tune into a podcast is: Through the apple podcast app or Spotify.

Here are some of our favourite Australian and International podcasts to listen to on your way to work or uni.

Manifest” with Tori De Simone

Hosted by Tori De Simone

“Manifest” with Tori DeSimone is a podcast all about paving your own path through health and fitness. At the age of 20, Tori, who lives in the USA, was able to open up her own Spin and Fitness Studio all because of her success as a teenage social media influencer.

Listen each week for all the tips, tricks, and secrets that no one seems to talk about, until now. You can also expect to find episodes about self-reflection, health, nutrition, weekly motivation, and goal setting. Find out exactly how Tori got to where she is, and how you can be your own boss too, regardless of age, education, and money.

What I like about this podcast in particular is that, while Tori is still very young and yet highly successful, she doesn’t pretend to have her life together. She reflects on her own challenges with her health and fitness journey and discusses just how confusing all the mixed messages can be.

The podcast can be on podcast platforms such as Spotify and the Apple Podcast App.

Don’t Blame Me

Don't Blame Me
“Questionable advice from a fellow work in progress” Meghan Reinks

American actress and social media influencer, Meghan Reinks is the host of this hilarious podcast. This is an advice podcast where listeners call in with their dilemma’s or questions and Meghan provides what she describes as “questionable advice from a fellow work in progress”. This show is perfect to have on in the background when you’re running errands or driving to work. The calls range from questions about dating an ex-boyfriend’s brother to struggling with mental health.

What is so great about this podcast is Meghan and whatever guest she brings on to help answer questions are just average people, so the advice they provide is #realtalk, sometimes harsh, yet always from a good place advice from your best friend.

The podcast can be on podcast platforms such as Spotify, Stitcher and the Apple Podcast App. You can also watch the video recordings on Meghan’s YouTube channel.
