Beauty shopping shouldn’t be stressful. There is loads of fun to be had testing out what’s new and trending.

However, if you’re on a budget and trying to save for a holiday, a car or even a house, spending loads of money on beauty products which help to save your skin and keep you looking good, may seem like a real challenge.

We found six products which not only deliver on high performance, working to cleanse the skin, protect the skin and keep skin looking good and younger longer, they are all priced under thirty dollars. Winning.

Essano Rosehip Eye Cream RRP $20

This eye cream is non-greasy, can be worn easily enough under any other product and foundation and is full of rich ingredients like rosehip, vitamin A and E to help keep eyes plump, smooth and well hydrated for youthful-looking eyes.

“For the last year or more, I have searched high and low for the perfect eye cream. Trying some of the most expensive to the cheapest ones around. And, it wasn’t until I attended a Priceline event where I was given an Essano Rosehip Eye Cream to try at home I realised the perfect one was sitting there in front of me at Coles, Woolworths and Priceline all along.”

La Roche-Posay Lipkar AP+ Baume RRP $24.95

French brand La Roche-Posay are well known for their rich formulas which works to restore skin to its natural self, from hydrating, to nourishing and protecting, this Baume is testiment to the quality behind the brand. The cream is rich and thick, and ideal for skin types prone to excess dryness and itchiness.

“I was sent this Baume a month ago to try and I was absolutely amazed with the results of using this cream, even after the first day. My skin has always been dry so searching for the ultimate body cream has always been a challenge. Since using the Baume by La Roche-Posay, most mornings I wake up and don’t feel the need to apply any moisturiser at all to the body. An amazing outcome after spending nearly thirty years applying both AM and PM.”

Swisse Rosewater Balancing Mist Toner RRP $12.99

Don’t underestimate the use of a good toner. Since the release serums and face oils toners have been sidelined as a useful product. Replaced by face mists and other varying hydrating products, Toners should still be part of your skincare routine.

“The rosewater spray toner by Swisse is fabulous and suits all skin types. I use right after showering and let it dry before using any other skincare products. Throughout the day if my skin feels dry, a light spritz on the face can make skin feel and look renewed. Just don’t spray to much after makeup application as it’s not a setting spray and may make any makeup your wearing run off.

Essano Superfoods Cinnamon Exfoliator RRP $17

Perfect for oily and combination skin which is prone to breakouts, this natural exfoliant for the face is a must-have in your beauty kit. Depending on how sensitive your skin is, you may find the texture of this exfoliator a little harsh, so do a patch test before use. The miracle ingredient in this product is the cinnamon which is ideal for shrinking pores, treating blemishes and cleansing dirt from the pores.

“I have been using this exfoliator by Essano now for more than three months and my skin feels amazing for it. Made with apricot kernals (as the exfoliant), aloe vera and cinnamon, I have noticed a significant reduction in skin congestion. I don’t use it everyday, and normally reserve use of this product when I am breaking out and I have noticed blemishes clear a lot faster using this product compared with others.”
