Lash and Brow Serums That Actually Work. We Road-Tested Them

Lash and Brow Serums That Actually Work. We Road-Tested Them.

We may have found the perfect lash and brow solution for you. And it doesn’t involve any extensions, chemical laden products, or tattoos.

All women dream of long lashes and bushy brows. We have road-tested the brand that has been voted number one in the world, and they don’t cost a fortune.

Aussie beauty brand Cangro have a Long Lash Serum that has been ranked number 1 in the world.

Founded by two friends, Belinda Robinson, and Felecia Tappenden, Cangro is an Australian owned and made company.

After years of spending money of lash extensions and various other lash enhancers with the hope to achieve long natural lashes, they decided to work with a Cosmetic Chemist to develop their very own eyelash enhancer which would nourish, nurture, and grow lashes naturally, without the use of harsh chemicals, and without causing any irritation to the sensitive eye area.

After detailed research and loads of testing, they developed an Australian Made eyelash enhancer named Long Lashes, which repaired and strengthened lashes, resulting in longer, fuller looking lashes in as little as 4 to 8 weeks.

And best of all, the serum is vegan, hormone-free, cruelty-free and gluten-free.

Since the success of the lash serum, they then branched out into developing a bold brow enhancer, a hero hair growth serum, and collagen powder. All Australian made, vegan and nasty-free.

I put the lash serum and brow serum to the test for 4 months, here’s what happened.

CANGRO Long Lashes Eyelash Enhancer RRP $89

Although I do have lashes which are a decent length and not too thin, there is always room for improvement. And what’s the harm in nourishing what you already have, to enhance it naturally anyway.

After using the lash serum in the first week, I first noticed a significant reduction in lash loss.

What does this mean?

Well, from time to time, especially after wearing mascara all day (even natural-based ones), I would always have casualties. Losing at least 4 to 5 lashes every time I cleanse away the mascara. And sometimes even days after wearing mascara, I would lose several more.

I noticed a significant growth spurt after three weeks using the serum. But what I noticed more than anything, was the thickness. As I was no longer losing lashes, they were looking fuller and less dull.

4 months on, the serum has worked and has done and continues to do so. I love the dewy feel my lashes have application too.  It’s as though my lashes have just soaked up an entire litre of much needed water, looking nourished and thicker.

The key ingredients of the Cango Long Lashes Eyelash Enhancer are: Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Extract, and Acctostaphylosn Uva Uris Leaf Extract – all designed to help lashes grow naturally without using chemicals.

CANGRO  Bold Brows Eyebrow Enhancer RRP $89

Let’s talk brows. Mine have always been on the medium side. Though not exactly thin and whispy, they aren’t exactly thick and bushy either.

This may have been the result of me waxing and plucking from a very early age.

My late mother was very beauty savvy and was happy to introduce me to the world of eyebrow waxing and plucking from the age of twelve. Judge her all you want; I will forever be grateful I always had nicely manicured brows growing up.

However, later in life after all those years of plucking and waxing, my brows have never really had the chance to stay full and bushy. I was super keen to trial this brow serum to see if it would help give my brows more depth by thickening them.

After 2 weeks, I saw an increase in hair growth. So much so around the brow line, I had to start waxing again, which I hadn’t done in years (after years of waxing from a young age, the hair does eventually stop growing back around the brows).

My brows, although not model-bushy, were fuller and the texture of the hair seemed a lot healthier as well. Plus there was a nice little shine to the hairs, which I have never had before.

It goes to show, a little TLC and nourishment to these small hairs, really goes a long way.

I use the brow serum every night and have done for 4 months.

My brows were always a little coarse in nature prior to using the brow serum. Since using it, they are a lot softer to touch. I definitely don’t mind the extra plucking from time to time now, as it means my brows are filling out more and more each day.
