Why a Magnetic Face Mask Gives You the Best Clean Ever

Why magentic face masks are good for your skin

From the fabulous peeps who brought you their global sensation charcoal teeth cleaner, Carbon Coco has launched a new magnetic face mask.

Their new magnetic charcoal mask is the most satisfying face mask you’ll ever use, as you remove it mess-free with a magnet after it has set onto the skin.

If you have never heard of, or have never seen what a magnetic mask is, this revolutionary way to clean out pores, dirt, grime and unclog congested skin uses the latest technology to grab onto dead skin cells and other dirt trapped in the pores to reveal fresh new skin.

Magnetic masks, in general, contain beneficial skincare ingredients and iron particles that help combat blemishes and even reduce fine lines and wrinkles. And the best part, the use of magnetic-based masks on the skin are not harmful in any way.

It’s not a new technology in the development of face masks and a lot of luxury skincare brands have all developed their own version of a magnetic face mask.

Unlike most luxury brands, the Carbon Coco Magnetic Face Mask is affordable and accessible, and is selling at a launch price of $89.95, marked down from RRP $145.95

And this magnetic mask is indeed magnetised. It’s literally made of charcoal and iron powder.

The charcoal component of the mask works to heal and clear blemishes as it treats inflammation and clears the pores of any infection, whilst the iron component of the mask then provides the power of raw minerals to the pores to treat any ageing concerns of the skin and of course is magnetised.

So, why all the hype for the mask to be magnetised using the iron particles?

When you use a magnet to clear away the mask from the skin, you are reducing the risk of any bacteria being spread across the skin, which can happen from time to time when using a warm cloth to remove your average charcoal mask, as the iron particles grab at the magnetic when it passes over the skin, taking all the bacteria with it. Leaving skin clearer from any dirt and grime.

BB Writer Rebecca tried the new Magnetic Charcoal Mask and here’s what she had to say:

“I am such a face mask fanatic. From bubble masks and self-warming masks to collagen boosting masks and 24k gold karat infused masks. You name it, I have it. I  have a mask for every day of the week to match whatever skin troubles I am going through.

But the one mask I hadn’t tried yet, was a magnetic mask. I was super keen to give it a go.

The texture of the charcoal mask itself is like that of your standard charcoal clay mask. It’s easy to apply and comfortable on the skin. Which is good, as you have to keep it on for at least ten to fifteen minutes. You are provided with a spatula tool to apply the mask to your skin, however, I found it a lot easier to use a brush for the application instead.

Now comes the satisfying part, using the magnet to remove the mask. So exciting.

You cover the magnet with a washable and reusable slip and you sweep the magnet over your face, close to the skin in order to for the magnetic to collect the mask from your face, watch the magic happen. As you move the magnet around your face, the mask slowly lifts from your skin, leaving nothing behind, except clean, fresh looking skin, completely congestion-free.

The sensation of using the new Carbon Coco Magnetic Charcoal Mask is unusual and I felt a slight tingle on the skin as the magnetic worked to collect all the mask off the skin. Nothing uncomfortable and of course, absolutely safe to use, especially on sensitive skin.

This has to be one of the easiest masks to remove I have ever experienced, and that includes sheet masks.

What I loved most was how my skin felt after removing the mask. Even my partner noticed an overall appearance in the texture of my skin, stating it looked smooth and so clear. Winning.”
