To create a long lasting and sweat proof makeup look, spray your foundation brush or beauty blender with setting spray before applying any other product. This will work to keep your skin breathing while keeping your makeup in place.
If you’re looking to create a liquid foundation look with a powder product, use a wet sponge to apply the powder. This will create a fuller coverage without detracting from the benefits of a powder.
When you have a mascara mishap and product ends up anywhere other than your lashes, don’t rush to remove it. This will cause the mascara to smudge and leave an unwanted black mark. If you wait until the product dries, you’ll be able to easily scratch it off without ruining your makeup look.
Want a volumized ponytail? Place an alligator clip underneath the top of the pony to add volume rather than teasing which can cause serious damage.

To reduce frizz in your hair, dry your wet hair with a t-shirt rather than a towel. Using a towel will pull too much moisture out of your hair, which makes it frizzy. Using a cotton shirt get rid of the excess water and leave your hair frizz-free.
Jumped in the pool with recently dyed blonde hair and ended up with green hair? Easily colour correct by rinsing your hair with baking soda and water before shampoo and conditioner.
Fix your broken eyeshadow and powders by adding a few drops of rubbing alcohol and smoothing out and leaving the product to dry. To keep your powder products from breaking in the first place, put a cotton pad or bud on top of the product.
If your favourite lipsticks snaps in two, you can easily reattach the broken parts with a lighter my melting the two back together.
When you think your tube is empty – think again. If you cut a seemingly empty tube product in half, you’ll be surprised to see really how much product is still left.
To remove and loosen old crusty bits of mascara on your wand, soak the wand in warm water. You can do the same with used false eyelashes.
If your mascara is running out, add a few drops of saline or eye drops and your mascara will be good as new.
When you take off your clothes and find your foundation has decided to make a little mark, fix the stain with a little bit of shaving cream by rubbing in a dollop on the stain before washing.
