Travel Destination Bucket-List After Covid-19

Although it seems a long way off, the end of Coronavirus will undoubtedly bring a whole lot of joy to the people who had to put trips on hold and sadly cancel bookings for this year.

While we wait for that day when we can finally travel, what may help in this time, is dreaming – possibly even planning where you would love to go when the mayhem subsides.

The Bondi Beauty Team have shared their top vacation spots for 2021.

New Zealand

“I love snow skiing”

Bondi Beauty Columnist Rebecca Wilkinson:

“I wouldn’t mind a trip to NZ for a bit of skiing. I have had it on my mind for a while.

I love snow skiing and life has been way too busy the last few years or more trying to finish my degree, so I haven’t had a chance to hit the slopes for at least 4 or 5 years.

I am super keen to get back into it and figure why not make a proper holiday out of it and hit the alps of Queenstown in NZ”

Somewhere Relaxing

“A calming change of scenery”

Bondi Beauty Writer Anisha Rapthi:

“As I have had to cancel not one but TWO trips overseas, my list of places to jet off to after Covid-19 is extensive to say the least.

Part of me wants to re-do the jam-packed Europe trip that I’d feverishly planned earlier this year, which included trips to stunning cities like Lisbon, Paris, Barcelona, Berlin, London, Rome and Prague.

But then again, another part of me just wants to chill out after all the craziness of 2020.

Whether that means relaxing poolside in a Balinese villa or sipping cocktails alongside the beaches of Fiji with my girlfriends, I don’t really mind – I just want a calming change of scenery.”

Asia

“Thailand”

Bondi Beauty Editor Renae Leith-Manos:

“My next trip was to be to Asia and now that’s gone, I am keen to re-instate it once the planes are flying.

Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore.”

A Retreat

“A tropical get-away in the Balinese jungle”

Bondi Beauty Writer Tara McKenzie:

“If there is one thing I’ve learnt this year, it’s the power of meditation and mindset.

I’ve always wanted to attend a Mindspo retreat in Bali, and I think after the craziness of 2020, the combination of a tropical get-away in the Balinese jungle and a meditation retreat is exactly what the doctor ordered.”

Somewhere Tropical

“I can almost taste the cocktails now”

Bondi Beauty Writer Zoe Bradbury:

“After all of the 2020 travel restrictions, I’d love to head to on another girls trip.

This time last year, I was coming home from Europe with my best friends after 6 weeks of fun, so I’m really feeling for everyone who had to cancel their Europe trips this year.

In 2021 I’m thinking of a girls trip on a smaller scale, this time maybe to a tropical location such as Thailand, Bali or the Philippines, to really relax and let loose.

I can almost taste the cocktails now.”
