Ditch the sweets for Halloween and try these five beauty treats instead.

Chocolate’s great, but beauty is so much better. And we have found five fabulous beauty treats to replace your chocolate treat this Halloween.

LUSH Boo Shower Slime RRP $23.95

Nothing says Halloween more than black slime. Made using bamboo stem extract, and lightly fragranced with a bubble gum scent, this slime will exfoliate and cleanse the skin, whilst hydrating and moisturising, for glowing skin.

The texture of this shower slime is interesting, to say the least, and it’s super messy to use. So definitely make sure you open the container in the shower, so any spillage will be in the shower. The slime is plastic-free too, so when it goes down the sink, it will break down and is safe for the environment. There is a slight glitter to the slime also, for a frightful gooey wash experience.

Aspect Fruit Enzyme Mask RRP $59

Free from any harsh chemicals and made from skin purifying ingredients such as natural fruit and plant extracts, this mask is a real treat for tired, congested and dry skin. The texture is silky and smooth and easy to apply over the face, and as it’s tinted orange, it’s the perfect mask for Halloween.

The smell is like a delicious fruit punch in summer, which fizzes the skin to help remove dead skin cells. After cleansing, you apply a decent amount on the skin and wait for the pilling to occur. You’ll know when it’s pilling, as there will be a slight tingling sensation to the skin. For sensitive skin, leave the mask on for five minutes and then remove with warm water. For not too sensitive skin, leave on for ten minutes and then remove with warm water. Hello, clear skin.

LUSH Pumpkin Spice Lip Scrub RRP $11.95

If you’re a fan of pumpkin pie, then you’re going to love this delicious lip scrub, so good you could eat it. It smells amazing, with just the right amount of spices and with a slight scent of sweetness. And although a limited edition for Halloween only, you will want to use this lip scrub all year around. It’s seriously that good.

Lips are left feeling revitalised and renewed, once the scrub has done its job to remove all the dead skin cells. It can be a tad messy to use though, so do make sure you are either in the shower or scrubbing over a sink. Made using caster sugar the texture of this scrub is not harsh at all to use and is made with cinnamon, ginger, jojoba oil, and pumpkin butter. Yummy.

Fall for Pumpkin Vanilla Pumpkin Body Butter RRP $25

Despite it being the month of Spring in Australia, we just can’t help ourselves when it comes to pumpkins and all things Autumnal for Halloween in October. It’s easy to channel those Fall vibes with this beautifully scented body butter which has been infused with roasted pumpkins and Madagascan vanilla.

This body butter provides extra care to dry skin, in need of a major hydration boost. All whilst smelling the scent of Halloween on your body after using. If pumpkins are your thing of course. The body butter is best used right after showering. Try giving your body a decent exfoliation before using this butter and watch how soft and silky skin becomes after only using once.

LUSH Glow Worm RRP $9.95

Just when you thought things couldn’t get any spookier, LUSH went and created a glow in the dark body wash unlike anything else. This shower wash has the texture of play doe, which means you can shape this beauty into any shape or leave it as a round ball if you wish.

You simply sculpt, let it soak up any light, then lather up underwater for a squeaky clean. Don’t forget to turn out the lights. This wash can also be used in your hair or crumbled lightly underwater for an uplifting bath. It’s also been infused with essential oils such as lemongrass and bergamot, so it smells amazing. Like a crisp Spring morning.
