Book clubs have always been popular and a great way for people to get book recommendations, so It’s no surprise to see many celebrities forming their own book clubs in recent months.

From talented English and Albanian singer Dua Lipa to American model and actress Kaia Gerber, celebrity book clubs have been booming more than ever.

Here are some of the best celebrity book clubs with fantastic taste to invest in.

Service 95 is a global editorial platform that hosts a website, weekly newsletter, the podcast Dua Lipa: At Your Service and of course, the Service95 Book Club. The platforms feature a consideration curation of lists, stories, perspectives and conversations with a global lens. It is a space for some of the world’s most compelling voices to share their words.

Service95 was founded by Dua Lip, based in London, in February of 2022. Dua Lipa is an English and Albanian pop singer. She is known for being the pop princess of this generation with her disco-influenced productions that have known worldwide. And a few months ago, she just launched her very own book club for Service95.

The Service95 Book Club represents stories of diverse and powerful voices through fiction, memoir and manifesto. Members of Service95 are invited to read along with the Book of the Month, assisted by discussion guides, author Q&As and extra book recommendations to bring readers closer to the authors and the worlds they create.

Dua personally chooses the book each month, and everyone is encouraged to share their insights and contribute other recommendations for people to know about. The features on the website really connect you with the author and their thought process.

The most recent feature is Min Jin Lee, the author of the chosen July book. She discusses her novel Pachinko and the history behind it.

Reese’s Book Club – Reese Witherspoon

Reese’s Book Club was founded by the one and only American Actor Reese Witherspoon under her media company Hello Sunshine. Feminist icon Reese Witherspoon is an American actress and producer known for iconic movies like Legally Blonde and Cruel Intentions.

She also recently worked on the show adaptation of the highly celebrated contemporary fiction book Daisy Jones & The Six as an executive producer.

Each month Reese chooses a book with a woman at the story’s centre. There aren’t any formulas for the books she chooses, and she makes the choices thoughtfully, looking for ways to deepen readers’ connection to books, authors and themselves.

It’s always refreshing to see something run by people who are vocal about what they love and stand for, and that is precisely what Reese’s Book Club does.

Jennette McCurdy recently established herself in the reading community, releasing her first memoir, I’m Glad My Mom Died. The book has been a life-changing success, being on the New York Times Best-seller book list for 47 consecutive weeks.

Jennette McCurdy is a former American actress and current writer known for her fantastic memoir and acting in some of the most well-known Nickelodeon shows iCarly and Sam & Cat, which she discusses in her own memoir. She announced her retirement from acting in 2017 and went on to release her memoir in 2022.

Recently Jennette took to Instagram in May to say that she was starting her own book club for her followers to join along. She picks one fiction and non-fiction book each month, posts about them, and encourages her followers to share their thoughts in the posts comment section on Instagram.

Kaia Gerber has always been vocal about her love for books through her online presence, so It’s no surprise to discover that she has a book club.

Kaia Gerber is a 21-year-old, well-known American model and actress about to be in the new movie Bottoms by Emma Seligman. You may also know her as the famous model Cindy Crawford’s daughter, aka her mini-me.

Kaia’s book club was launched in March of 2020, where she debuted with Sally Rooney’s best seller Normal People, with actors from the show adaptation Daisy Edgar-Jones and Paul Mescal joining her.

She had a break from her book club for a while but brought it back in mid-2022 with no one other than model, writer and actress Emily Ratajkowski, author of New York Times bestseller My Body.

Her Instagram book club welcomes everyone to join her and, on occasion, her guests to join her live on Instagram, where they discuss the book together. This is the perfect book club to interact with Kaia and experience a vivid and enjoyable conversation between herself and a celebrity guest.

Between Two Books has been a book club that set the tone for celebrity book clubs—founded by the amazing, talented singer of Florence and the Machine, Florence Welch, in 2012 when an Irish teen tweeted her with the idea that she should have her own book club. Instantly Florence’s fans backed up the idea.

Still running to this day, it has grown into a beautiful online community led by original members Kate and Leah and, of course, alongside Florence Welch.

The English singer is the lead vocalist of Florence and the Machine, formed in 2007. They are known for their biggest hits like The Dog Days Are Over, You’ve Got the Love, and Never Let Me Go.

The book club regularly features guest recommendations from writers, musicians and directors. Some that have been featured are Greta Gerwig, Fiona Apple, Adwoa Aboah and Sally Rooney.
