The Game Changing Omnilux Contour Face at home LED Mask is the easiest, quickest and least intrusive way to give your skin a regular overall boost without really trying.
I have always been a fan of Omnilux, the LED light therapy that has a huge range of benefits for the skin, and the at-home contour mask takes the Omnilux experience to a whole new level.
The at-home Omnilux Contour Face is absolutely brilliant. It is a simple flexible plastic mask you wear with a velcro catch at the back to do it up, and you leave it on it for a maximum of 10 minutes a day, 3 days a week.
But first let me explain a bit about Omnilux, as this is no ordinary red light therapy skin treatment. This is the real deal.
It is used in salons by over 3500 plastic surgeons and dermatologists globally, mainly to speed up the healing of the skin after plastic surgery treatments, and to prolong any and all age-defying treatments.
It was developed in the UK after 12 years of medical research, and Omnilux have substantial documented clinical evidence of success treating both acne and wrinkles.
Omnilux is pain free, non-invasive, has no down time, and drastically helps with acne scarring, fine lines and wrinkles, and rejuvenates the skin.
They say it also helps prolong the effects of injectables including botox and filler.
Fast forward to the at-home kit, as usually Omnilux is an in-salon treatment of about 30 minutes, and although it is claimed you see results from just one treatment, a series of treatments is required for maximum benefits.
I concluded the at home Omnilux LED Kit is easiest to use lying down, as it stays put, and if you have lashes they will be protected if you keep still.
I have been wearing the Omnilux Contour LED Face Mask up to 20 minutes a day, and after just one session, my skin was visibly refreshed and glowing.
After using it every day for a week, my fine lines looked smoother, and my skin continued to look fresh, smooth and soft. But the best part is the red light boosts serotonin. So the minute I took it off, I felt lifted, a touch happier and calmer. And who doesn’t want to feel like that in 2020?
My preference was to either use it first thing in the morning or last thing at night. I could use it in bed, and either spring to life or calmly nod off.
The other advantage is that because the Omnilux Face mask is flexible, you can actually use it on your body and drape it over almost every body part including your back, shoulders and even legs to treat other areas. It also reduces inflammation and heals scars super quickly.
It charges quickly using a power pack, and where you wear it the power chord is connected to the mask, but you can tuck it into your bra or hold it.
After 6 weeks using it, the only negative seems to be that you do look a bit like Freddy Kruger when wearing it – my kids think it is very strange. But who cares, when you take it off, your skin is like velvet. Truth.
And it’s not cheap, but compared to the price of in-salon treatments and all of the driving, parking and time that goes with those, this is value for money. I love it.
Your skin looks amazing! Can I ask if it leaves marks on the bridge of your nose. I bought the current body one and it leave a big red indentation which takes hours to go down so am considering the Omnilux instead. Would appreciate your advice
Hi Natalie, The Omnilux mask sits completely flat so it does not leave any masks. Even better you can put it on any part of the body as the mask is flexible, so it can curve around your side for example. It is an excellent product and good value for money.
How many lights has the “at home omnilux ” as i believe the salon ones can have around 1,800.00 and home ones only about 100. I wanted to buy a ‘salon type one’ or as close as possible.thank you.
Yes the salon ones have many, many more lights, but the at-home one is for daily use and is super effetcive. We love it.
