Trialling the new LIPOcel Fat Burning treatment by Elite Body Contouring
Fat reducing procedures are generally considered fairly divisive. In a world where we want to accept our bodies for what they are (fat and all), there is no hiding the stats on the growing interest in both invasive and non-invasive body treatments to help you lose weight and remove fat from the body.
Minimally invasive cosmetic procedures such as liposuctions are very popular, however, There are other methods in which to remove from the body.
According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, 20 million surgical and minimally invasive cosmetic procedures were performed in the United States alone in 2018.
There’s no denying the relationship we have with our body is a complicated one.
Although I’ve never been compelled to look perfect, trying out the NEW fat burning LIPOcel Body Sculpting Treatment was to satisfy my curiosity about the procedure, rather than to make drastic changes to my body.
LIPOcel is the latest non-invasive treatment for permanent fat reduction offered by Elite Body Contouring, and is a painless precision body sculpting method. They are the first in Australia to have access to this medical grade listed, fat reduction technology, based of HIFU (high-intensity focused ultrasound system).
These HIFU energy waves penetrate approximately 1.3cm deep under the skin destroying fat cells at a temperature of around 75 degrees (hot stuff). But you won’t feel any of that heat, as the patented LIPOcel device has a contact cooling system which reduces the hand piece surface temperature to around five degrees. Making the treatment very comfortable.
You can treat any problem areas, from the hips, thighs, stomach or arms. And as the procedure used ultrasound wave technology, no scaring or marks are left on the skin after treatment.
LIPOcel has been tested to strict Australian guidelines and is backed by medical studies, as an effective form of fat burning, used in conjunction with a healthy diet and exercise.
The first step was to have a Body Composition Scan using a high tech Inbody 770 body scanner, which is trusted by hospitals and used for medical research, patient monitoring, sport science and medicine. It scanned my body internally and externally, giving accurate readings of the following:
- Body fat mass in kilograms (kg’s)
- Body fat percentage (%)
- Protein levels
- Mineral levels
- Skeletal muscle mass
- Body mass index (BMI)
- Segmental lean analysis
- Segmental fat analysis
- Intracellular water
- Extracellular water
- Base metabolic rate
- Bone mineral content
- Visceral fat
- Whole body circumference measurements (cm’s)
- Total body water
- Total body weight
- Whole body phase angle
This was fascinating, as the information helped me understand my body a lot better, accurately knowing where my problem areas are, giving me direction on where I am to work harder when it comes to losing fat and toning the body.
The second step was to have photos taken of my stomach area (the area I had chosen to have treated). I wasn’t required to strip down naked, I only needed to roll my pants down and lift my top up to expose the stomach area for the photos. The same goes for the treatment. You stay fully clothes, only exposing the area being treatment with LIPOcel.
Photos are also taken after the treatment to see if any changes can be seen after one hour of fat burning.
The treatment was completely painless. I was told by the therapist who was treating me that I may or may not feel a slight pinch to the skin from time to time, from the five degree temperature of the device touching my skin. But other than that nothing. And she was right, I didn’t feel anything.
In-fact, I hardly felt the slight pinch she was talking about, until she got to the hip areas. As there is more bone in this region, than the stomach, you do feel a slight pinching sensation as the device sits on the area to treat the fat. However, it was completely comfortable, no pain or discomfort at all.
Once I was finished, I noticed an instant result. However, my therapist did advised that more sessions can be had to boost results or reach my desired outcome
Experts claims LIPOcel does continue to work and you may see results from up to six to eight weeks after a treatment, as it can take a while for the fat to break down and remove from the body. And according to my consultant on the day, the heatwave ultrasound technology of the LIPOcel device continues to channel energy throughout the treated area to dispel fat, long after your treatment.
