Ingredients:

  • Roasted coffee beans – 2 tbsp 
  • Milk – 1 1/2 cups
  • Chocolate fudge sauce – 1/4 cup 
  • Chocolate chips – 1/2 cup
  • Ice cubes – 3 cups
  • Mini chocolate chips – as needed (optional)
  • Chocolate syrup – for topping (optional)
  • Whipped cream – for topping (optional)

Directions:

  • Start by combining ice cubes, fudge sauce, coffee beans, and milk in the blender.
  • Blend the ingredients for one minute. 
  • Pour in some chocolate syrup (if you want) and chocolate chips. Blend for a few seconds. Make sure not to blend too much to avoid completely breaking the chips. 
  • Pour the drink in a glass or jar.
  • Top it with whipped cream, syrup, and chocolate chips of desired. Serve chilled.

Macchiato Recipe:

The traditional macchiato, also known as cafe macchiato, is one of the favourite coffee drink of many. It differs from the other coffee drinks by adding more espresso than the milk. 

Ingredients:

  • Steamed milk – 1 oz
  • Espresso – 2 oz

Directions:

  • Make a shot of espresso using quality roasted coffee beans. 
  • Steam the milk. Make sure the pitcher is warm and not overly hot. 
  • Pour the espresso in a cup. 
  • Add only a dash of steam milk in the espresso.

  • Salted Caramel Mocha Smoothie

The salted caramel mocha smoothie is a healthy version of a coffee drink and a perfect way to start your morning. 

Salted Caramel Mocha Smoothie:

Ingredients:

  • Cold coffee – 1/2 cup
  • Unsweetened almond milk – 1/2 cup
  • Cacao powder – 1 tbsp
  • Frozen banana – 1 small 
  • Vanilla extract – 1 tsp 
  • Pitted dates – 3 (soaked 15 minutes in hot water)
  • Salt – a pinch 
  • Ice – 1 cup 

Directions:

  • Combine all the ingredients in the blender. 
  • Blend for one minute or until everything has been properly mixed. 
  • Serve chilled

French Café au Lait:

One of the favourite coffee drinks in France, cafe au lait makes a delectable and simple drink with a strong coffee kick to start your day. 

Ingredients:

  • Strong roasted coffee – 1 cup (brewed) 
  • Steamed milk – 1 cup
  • Sugar – to taste (optional) 

Directions:

  • Heat the milk in a saucepan or microwave.
  • Use a whisk, French press, or a forther to froth the milk. 
  • Once the milk becomes foamy, pour in the coffee. Remember to add the coffee at the side of the cup to ensure the foam on the top stays intact. 
  • Add sugar if needed.

Coffee Smoothie:

One of the easiest coffee drinks that is also a healthy way to kick start your day. 

Ingredients:

  • Freshly brewed coffee – 1 cup
  • Banana – 1 
  • Rolled oats – 1/4 cup
  • Cacao powder – 1 tbsp
  • Flaxseed – 1 tbsp
  • Ground cinnamon – 1/8 tsp
  • Almond milk or soy milk – 1 cup
  • Honey – 1 tsp 

Directions:

  • Start by pouring in the freshly brewed coffee in ice cube tray. Freeze it overnight. 
  • In a blender, add in the coffee ice cubes and all the ingredients. Blend until the mixture is smooth. 
  • Taste and adjust the sweetness. 
  • Serve chilled.
