Chanel wowed their audience this week with models strutting the catwalk wearing sneakers and glam dresses – and it looked fab.
Fitness labels have well and truly hit the streets.
Mixing fitness brands with high-end fashion labels is a pretty big deal right now. ASOS teamed up with Puma last week bringing together a super cool 90’s collection.
Christian Dior stunned runway onlookers with fancy slip-on sneakers at their Spring Paris Haute Couture Show, and then at Chanel, Karl Lagerfeld did the unimaginable and ditched high-heels for full-on, proper running shoes complete with sequins, crystals and glitter reportedly taking 30 hours to produce.
The actions had the fashion world in a raving frenzy. “Chanel couture is everything!!!! Dying with the sneakers…,” said blogger byranboy.
2014 is looking like the year of the sneaker. We say enjoy the comfort.
