It’s hard to know the extent of the drink’s cancer-preventing qualities until further research is undertaken. But drinking more green tea still seems like a wise decision, given that consuming more antioxidants will help fight inflammation and improve your health overall.

5) It can help you kick your caffeine addiction

True, it still contains some caffeine, but subbing out a few of your daily cups of coffee or black tea will reduce your caffeine consumption significantly. And let’s face it – it’s certainly easier than going completely cold turkey.
