How to Get Rid of Dark Circles

Are dark circles a serious health problem? Not really, but they seem to be a persistent and vexing issue for so many people.

Looking in the mirror with serious dark circles, you see an older, eroded version of yourself. Eye bags create a very real and serious road-block to looking put-together and youthful.

It’s perplexing how one small area of our face can completely betray us. They secretly signal to family that we had a few too many drinks last night, and they covertly notify colleagues that we haven’t slept well all week.

It’s time to tame these bags and get them under control so we can go about business as usual.

As we age, skin naturally loses collagen and grows thinner. This means no matter what kind of skin you have and no matter what routine you’re loyal to, veins and dark circles will inevitably start to show through the thin skin around your eyes.

According to Dr Natasha Sandy, a board certified physician with specialist training in Dermatology, “as early as 25, your collagen and elastin production decreases, causing skin to become loose, saggy, and puffy.”

Although there is no treatment on the market currently that will permanently eradicate under eye circles, there are a number of methods people use to reduce them, both natural and medically prescribed.

One of the best and most underrated treatments to cure under-eye bags is to monitor quality and quantity of sleep. Getting a full 8.5 hours of sleep each night will help your cause.

When you are well rested, it’s only fair that you look well-rested, right? When sleeping still fails you, use these products that have been tried and tested by Bondi Beauty, but be warned the solutions are not cheap:
