Braids were seen on every second person at Coachella this year, from children to adults braids have come back from 2009 school photos. Small braids to one big braid the trend stretched to all spectrums of the braid branch. Pastel and hair braids combined seemed to be a hot trend also with fluro eyeshadows collaborated.
Pastels in the hair or the eyes (or maybe both) were popular. The pastel colours boomed at this years Coachella, especially pink pastel. Creating a pastel look is super simple as well with at home options it seemed that 9/10 people were opting for this trend. Gone are the days of natural hair looks. Pastel shades of pink and blue were big at Coachella 2019.
Glitter is always a festival go-to; it isn’t a new trend as such but it was definitely seen at Coachella this year. Whether is was all over the body, small specs at the eyeline or sprinkled in the hair, almost everybody no matter the gender or age had glitter on some part of the body. Glitter will probably never not be a trend in the festival realm and since the 90s, it still one of the biggest trends in hair and makeup.
