Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder ($67)  and Mecca Max Retractable Travel Brush ($20)

This pressed powder is perfect for touching up throughout the day and refreshing the makeup. Used with a retractable travel brush, this is a great on the go product.

Kosas Lip Fuel Hyaluronic Lip Balm in ‘Pulse’ ($27)

This tinted lip balm is perfect for a hint of colour, while also providing hydration. It has a mint flavour, so it instantly refreshes your lips.

Dr Bronner’s Lavender Hand Sanitiser ($9.85)

An essential oil-infused hand sanitiser that comes in a convenient spray bottle is a must have in any handbag. The lavender scent is a lot more pleasant than traditional hand sanitisers.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer ($19.99)

When feeling tired and need to cover the under eye circles or a blemish, this lightweight and compact product does the trick. The soft applicator is a bonus as it feels gentle under the eyes.

Morphe M2 Lip Balm ($12)

This tinted lip balm can brighten a makeup look, and is something more natural. This tinted lip balm works great for moisturising the lips as well as adding a bit of subtle colour to the face.

A handheld mirror

“Is always something I make sure I have in my handbag.”

When travelling and need to do a quick touch up, sometimes looking into the front facing camera isn’t clear enough. This is where a small mirror makes everything better as it enables touch ups to the makeup look with confidence.

Burt’s Bees Ultra Conditioning Lip Balm $7

“I’ve probably got one or two floating at the bottom of my bag at the moment and plenty more scattered around the house.”

This moisturises the lips, doesn’t leave a white cast, and is long-lasting and perfect for quick top-ups throughout the day.

Estee Lauder Pure Colour Envy Lipstick in Hot Kiss $55

“My go-to lipstick at the moment.”

This is such a wearable colour and can be used for both the day and night time, as well as for casual and classy looks.

L’Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream $45

As the weather gets colder and after sanitising, carrying a hand cream is essential for dry hands.

This hand cream leaves the hands feeling soft and supple, absorbing quickly to the skin and the smell of this one is especially pleasant.

Tidal Hair Slicker – Anti Flyaway Hair Wand RRP $23.95

“This has been my hair saviour this summer.”

It’s designed like a mascara, and is for use on the roots of the hair, where those nasty frizzy bots appear on hot humid days. Simply brush along the hair, starting from the roots and go out and it slicks back any flyaway and frizzy bits.

Sephora Clear and Cover Corrector Concealer RRP $24

“I was so disappointed when It Cosmetics discontinued their Bye Bye Breakout concealer. Thankfully Sephora decided to release their own.”

This contains Antioxidants, BHAs/Salicylic Acid, so it doesn’t just cover and hide blemishes, it also treats them so they heal and go away faster as well.

Raww Superfood Infused Beauty Balance Me Roller Ball Fragrance RRP $16.99

Most people carry perfumes in their bag, Rebecca carries aromatherapy oils instead.

It’s  a fresh and soft scent, and is easy to wear instead of heavy perfumes.

Mario Badescu Facial Mist ($18)

“This is my absolute beauty essential in summer.”

This hydrating spray is a relief from both the heat and the sweat-induced pimples that occur during summer.

Le Specs Neptune Deux Gold Polarized Sunglasses ($89)

“You never know when you’re going to need a pair of sunglasses, whether you get placed at the sunny end of the table or you want to avoid recognition from a certain someone.”

ShedRain Manual Compact Umbrella ($14)

“With Sydney’s monsoon weather recently I’ve learned to always keep an umbrella handy in my bag.”

As a result, this prevents showing up to events with mascara running down the face and a head full of frizz.
