Our Fave Sydney Cafes for Brunch

where the bb team love to have brunch

The BB team share their favourite Sydney cafes for Brunch on the weekend.

Zoe Bradbury

Zoe Bradbury:

“Having grown up in a small country town, I love escaping the hustle and bustle of the CBD, and heading up to quite beauty suburbs of south Sydney, like Cronulla.

One of my favourite spots for brunch there is Blackwood Pantry. Its Instagrammable and delicious.

Health and fitness influencer and YouTuber Sarah’s Day is a frequent customer here, and she even has a delicious nourish bowl named after her. The bowl is packed with protein, healthy fats and carbs, and might just be the best thing on the menu.”

Anisha Rapthi

Anisha Rapthi:

“My favourite brunch spot in Sydney is Wild Sage. This beautiful restaurant is hidden within the concrete jungle of Barangaroo. With an urban menu to die for, the food is impeccable both in presentation and taste.

If you wanted to classify Wild Sage as either the perfect date spot, the perfect hangover brunch location or just one of Sydney’s top cafes, speaking from my experience, I would say it is all of the above.”

Renae Leith-Manos

Renae Leith-Manos:

“I am a fan of the super hip Porch and Parlour in Bondi, as there are so many super healthy clean options including green pea pancakes and a low sugar Buddha Bowl.

Their spicy hot chocolate with almond milk is also brilliant as a kick start to the day, and all whilst overlooking Bondi beach.

Wednesdays they have vegetarian day, and everything is so fresh and wholesome.”

Rebecca Wilkinson:

“I always affiliate brunch with pancakes, so a good pancake inspired cafe is often my favourite place to brunch.

And there are so many in Sydney. If I had to narrow it down to just one, it would have to be Hale & Hearty at Waterloo. I absolutely love their gluten-free and vegan inspired pancakes, which are thick, fluffy and mouth-watering.

I also love how they change the menu, so you never know what to expect when you arrive.”

Tara McKenzie

Tara McKenzie:

“I have found the best acai bowls in Sydney. You’re welcome.

Fruitologist is located in Bondi and Rozelle and doubles as a grocery/ health food store and café.

The acai bowls come mountain high and are the perfect sweetness and texture so it’s like eating a heaping bowl of icecream (except that it’s healthy).”
