This new shower gel by LUSH not only smells exactly like a sticky date pudding, it nourishes and hydrates skin completely.
Despite it being designed for men, it’s absolutely divine to use for women as well because of the unique rich, sweet fragrance.
We trial the new shower gel and put both the fragrance and the delivery of the products promise to hydrate skin to the test – here’s what we thought:

“I love sticky date pudding so this is a fun take from Lush on this famed fragrance. The fragranced shower gel is brilliant. The texture is thick, so you don’t need much, and the colour is rich, golden brown – like treacle, and the fragrance is very strong.
The Sticky Date Shower Gel definitely cleans the body and really is a joy to use. Afterwards the bathroom still smelt like sweet dates – a bonus.
It is very addictive and I found myself using a lot more than usual.

“I was using this body wash in the shower every day to give it a full road test. It’s a really good product, and extra hydrating for my skin.
It cleans skin well, and doesn’t strip anything. Skin doesn’t feel dry after use.
My skin felt nice and soft once it was dry also. It is a shower gel, so turns very soapy – and fast as soon as it hits water. So I was surprised when it didn’t dry my skin out. It foamed up well.
The body wash has a lovely fragrance of vanilla, maple syrup, and honey – I liked it.
I would definitely buy this product. It’s a 10/10 from me.”

“The scent of this shower gel by LUSH is absolutely next level.
I can not believe how well they nailed the fragrance of a delicious sticky date pudding (my fave pudding mind you) in this product.
And boy does it deliver on hydration. I was worried at first as it soaps up a lot, which can often result in dry skin. But it hydrated skin perfectly and left it feeling nourished and well maintained after wash.

“You can never go wrong with a good LUSH Shower Gel, they really do know how to rock your shower time with great scents and quality ingredients.
I was very surprised how much this shower gel smelt like actual sticky date pudding. It was very strong, but absolutely enjoyable in the shower.
The gel itself is very nice and doesn’t dry out skin. Very nourishing and leaves a pleasant smell on the skin after showering.
