Bondi Beauty – Terms and Conditions for Guest Writers, Sponsored Posts and Paid Content
The following Terms and Conditions apply to all guest contributions, sponsored posts, and advertorial (paid) content submitted to Bondi Beauty.
These terms are non-negotiable and binding upon agreement to publish content on our platform. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our editorial team at hello@bondibeauty.com.au prior to engagement.
1. Content Relevance & Approval
• All submitted content must be directly relevant to the Bondi Beauty brand, which focuses on beauty, health, wellness, fitness, and travel.
• Submissions outside of these categories will not be accepted or published.
• Prior to submitting an article, please send a story pitch (including a proposed title and summary). If your pitch is accepted, an invoice will be issued for payment.
• The right to publish or cancel publication is with the editor and founder of the publication and no refunds will be given for change of mind after payment has been made.
2. Payment & Publication Process
• Payment must be made in full and upfront before any content is reviewed, edited, or published.
• Rates are fixed and reflect our operational and editorial costs. These are non-negotiable.
• Once payment is received, we will begin editorial work, scheduling, and publishing as agreed.
• If you require express publication (within 48–72 hours), an additional 25% express fee will be charged and must be paid upfront. Otherwise stories are published within a 2 week period from the date payment is made.
3. Editorial Rights & Quality Control
• Bondi Beauty reserves full editorial control over all submitted content. This includes but is not limited to:
o Headings, subheadings, and formatting
o Grammar and tone adjustments
o Anchor text placement and editing
o Replacement or editing of provided images
• Anchor text must be integrated in a way that maintains editorial integrity and readability. We may modify or remove links deemed overly promotional (e.g., “Buy Now”, “Shop Here”), misleading, or inappropriate for our audience.
• If we find that the submitted anchor link is unsuitable, you may be asked to revise your pitch or provide alternate content. We reserve the right to decline or remove content if we find the client link or content is not appropriate or on brand.
4. Prohibited Content
• We do not accept content or links related to:
o Gambling or betting sites
o The sex industry
o High-risk financial schemes or unverified trading platforms
• If, after payment, content or links are submitted that fall into these categories, the story will not be published, and no refund will be provided. We may, however, offer a credit toward a future submission that fits our guidelines.
5. Word Count & Edits
• Word count is at the discretion of Bondi Beauty unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• For legal and editorial integrity, no pre-publication drafts will be sent for review.
• Post-publication changes will only be made in the case of factual or editorial error made by our team.
6. Publishing Timeframe
• Please allow up to two full weeks from the time payment is received for your content to be reviewed and published, unless otherwise arranged.
• Once live, you will receive confirmation and a direct link to the article via email.
7. Content Visibility & Duration
• We guarantee a minimum “live” period on the site for 12 months, for both content and links. After that, the content or links may be removed or “archived” depending on performance or site updates.
• Content may remain on the site indefinitely at a specific rate (please contact us directly to discuss rates for permanent placement). otherwise content will remain live on the site as mentioned above for 12 months. This of course, is all subject to the ongoing operation and maintenance of the website and editorial updates.
• Bondi Beauty reserves the right to archive, refresh, or remove older content if necessary for website performance or editorial relevance.
8. SEO & Distribution
• All paid and guest content is indexed by Google and optimised with basic SEO for visibility.
• Content will also be shared across Bondi Beauty’s social media platforms (subject to editorial suitability and campaign schedule).
• All content (new and updated) is periodically refreshed using Google indexing tools to maintain search visibility.
• Bondi Beauty reserves the right to archive, refresh, re-publish or remove older content on our social platforms at any time if necessary for any reason, including website performance or editorial relevance.
9. Paid Link Insertions (Into Existing Content)
• If you wish to insert a paid link into existing content, payment must be made in full upfront.
• Once payment is received, we will insert the link and send an updated live link to you.
• The same editorial standards apply for anchor text and relevance (please refer to point 7 & 8 above).
