Tanning can boost confidence all year round.
  1. Don’t stop tanning in Autumn. Your arms, legs and face are exposed most days in Sydney in Autumn, and most people look better tanned, so keep up the tanning routine.
  2. Always wear throw away gloves when you apply it. There’s nothing worse than orange hands, and keeping a pair of throw away gloves in your bathroom is easy ( might be best to keep them out of sight though as guests may start to wonder what you’re up to).
  3. Use the same tanning products on your face as you do your body. There’s a lot of hoo-ha about using different tanning products for your face, but in the majority of cases if your skin is not overly sensitive, use the same product on your face and body.
  4. If you’re sleeping alone, put your tan on at night and sleep in it – it just seems to last longer. if you wear long sleeved and legged PJ’s, and let the tan dry completely before sleeping, your sheets will be ok.
  5.  Use nail oil on cuticles on hands and feet as self-tan seriously dries out your skin, especially on hands and feet.
  6. Make sure you tan your feet as white feet and chocolate brown legs is not a good combination.
