Here at Bondi Beauty, we love beautiful people doing beautiful things and our friends over at L’Occitane Australia are doing just that.

They have partnered with The Kokoda Track Foundation (KTF) to help make a difference in the lives of women in Papua New Guinea. At L’Occitane’s 40th anniversary celebration the team presented KTF chairman Patrick Lindsay with a check for $74,300, raised from gift packs sold over Christmas. The fund’s will go towards raising and educating a new generation of female leaders in PNG.

“We partner with women because we want to get things done”.

Throughout 2016 the money will go towards ‘Community Kickstarter’ programs identified as deserving by female alumni members who are part of a special leadership program created by KTF. These programs will foster social change in PNG communities and allow women in the region to further their education and career endeavours.

Caroline Le Roch, General Manager L’Occitane Australia said:

“PNG is our nearest neighbour and we are very pleased to be partnering with KTF and supporting the great work they do. We are proud to be able to help make a lasting difference to the lives of many women and their families in PNG just as the work of L’Occitane Foundation does for the women in Burkina Faso in West Africa.”

A brand of social and political integrity, L’Occitane created the L’Occitane Foundation in 2006 with two main fields of action; the support of visually impaired persons the world over and the economic emancipation of women in Burkina.

The company embodies values of authenticity, social responsibility, responsible purchasing and sustainable development.

And that is why purchasing a L’Occitane product or gift pack is not only going to provide a memorable sensory experience and beautiful skin, but also the knowledge that you are contributing to something bigger.
