It tastes great and is good for your body – and it’s not that hard to cook. Warm up your winter mornings with a steaming bowl of this nutritional treat.
1 cup of quinoa
2 cups of water
1 cup of coconut milk
½ cup of toasted walnuts
2 tbsp of agave stevia or
1 tbsp cinnamon
1. Cook quinoa in a pot of water for 10-15 minutes.
2. Once the grain is cooked, add coconut milk and choice of your sweetener.
3. Add ripe banana and stir until it is warmed through.
4. Serve with a sprinkle of cinnamon and toasted walnuts to add some crunch.
