Coconut Protein Balls

These amazing protein balls are quick and easy to make. They are low in calories, fat and sugar and are high in fibre and protein.

What you will need:

3 cups of dates

4 scoops of vanilla Isowhey protein powder

¼ cups of carob chips

1 ½ cups of almonds

2 tablespoons of cocoa powder

½ cup of warm water

1 cup of unsweetened coconut flakes

Method:

1. Combine the dates, almonds and water in a food processor and grind. This mixture doesn’t need to be extremely fine, small chunks are ok.

2. Add mixture to a bowl and add the Isowhey protein powder, carob chips and cococa powder and mix well.

3. Spread the coconut flakes on a flat surface and roll the mixture into balls over the coconut until completely covered. The mixture should make about 32 balls, depending on the size of your balls.

They will be ready to eat immediately. Store any leftovers in the fridge to snack on later.
