Bondi Bather’s first Fashion Week

It’s the first time the swimwear newcomer showcased their designs at Fashion Week since launching in May last year.

“It’s a really good platform for emerging designers,” Kerry Cusack, Bondi Bather’s founder and designer told the Financial Review.

The Summer 2014 collection showcased plenty of abstract prints, rich sunsets and deep-water blues in a range of unusual, yet super-flattering styles.

“We have tried it on all shapes and sizes, and it is more flattering than the standard brief,” Cusack says.

From swimmers, bather and tops, the brand only use the highest-quality, super-soft fabrics that have a UV rating of 50+ to last and protect you through the hot sun, sea and sand.

It also featured a sporty side to the line, with racer-back bikinis and a classic one-piece dipping low at the back – a throw back to the famous US beach TV series, Baywatch.

Together, we share a love for where we live – The beach, sun, sea and healthy lifestyle, and this is the number one inspiration behind the label.

Designed and made here in Australia, every range portrays imagery of the iconic beach splashed across its pieces.

Each piece is limited edition and slightly unique in its own way, meaning you won’t see any other person on the beach wearing the same bikini.
