Stars for your Valentine, Centennial Parklands

 Star gaze the night away in the Centennial Parklands with a star gazing and picnic session.

 Astronomer Dr Luke Barnes from Western Sydney University is on hand to explain star gazing and what to look for, and once the informal learning session is complete, choose a telescope from Sydney City Skywatchers to gaze at the night sky.

 Picnic rugs are provided, and guests can choose to pack their own picnics and drinks, or order one ahead from Pop-up Picnic, who have created a specialised Valentine’s Day hamper including lobster rolls, brie with sourdough, beetroot cured salmon, salads and chocolate fondant with raspberries, among other inclusions.

In a hands-on 60-minute session, guests will be taught how to make their own bocconcini from scratch, using common kitchen equipment and techniques that can easily be replicated at home.

Following this, expert mixologists will reveal what makes the perfect cocktail, leading to a cocktail making session.
