Fitness = Better Sex. Fact.

Exercise for the best sex of your life.

Fitness gives you more confidence, energy and satisfaction in the bedroom.

Women who exercise regularly experience improved sexual desire, performance and enjoyment.

Whether your sex life is non-existent or ticking along, there is always room for improvement. Even if it’s smoking, wouldn’t you like an insurance policy to keep it that way?

‘Good sex’ can be defined as an act of intimacy that promotes health and wellbeing by providing both physical and psychological benefits. The mind-body connection is especially important to women – as the saying goes, ‘sex starts in the brain’.

Women report sexual arousal is intricately tied up with how they feel about themselves. They are in no mood to get smoochy when they are having an ‘I’m fat and ugly day’. Whilst many found the Vision Personal Training marketing campaign “Do it with the lights on” confronting or distasteful, the sentiment is not incorrect.

Exercise tones your tum, booty and other bits, enhancing body image, making you feel sexier and increasing your self confidence in the bedroom.

Exercise also reduces stress and depression leaving you more relaxed and able to let yourself go as is needed for arousal – and orgasm. Couple this with the fact that exercise improves circulation, increasing blood flow to the genitals, and it is easy to see why exercise primes you for sex.

In fact, studies show women who work out become aroused more quickly and are able to reach orgasm faster and more intensely.

Sex is a physical act. So, it follows that increased strength and fitness will help both men and women get the most out of their bedroom antics.

Whilst a quickie can be fun, a lovemaking marathon requires a little more endurance. Gentle coupling can be enjoyable, but raw passion needs a degree more cardio power.

A bit of aerobic training can undoubtedly rev up your sex life – allowing you to go for longer and more frequently. Getting into certain positions and holding them without getting tired or succumbing to those ’lose the moment cramps’ takes muscular strength and flexibility.

Improved muscle tone therefore encourages variety – and can even increase sexual gratification as orgasms depend on multiple muscle activity.

Great sex is not only the domain of the young. Staying fit can ensure your ‘sexual age’ is younger than your chronological age. Regular exercisers tend to drink and smoke less, eat better and maintain a healthier body weight which enhances overall health.

Good health allows the body to function at its best and this includes during sex.

Work out now, to pique your sex life today and prolong the pleasure for years to come.
