New Smart Mirror to Revolutionise Online Shopping

New smart mirror to revolutionise online shopping

New online smart mirrors will change the experience of online shopping

How much money is wasted purchasing clothing and jewellery online, to then be disappointed after delivery? When the item arrives, you discover the colour or style just doesn’t suit you.

The revolutionary new Smart Mirrors are about to change the way shoppers feel and think before purchasing any item as they virtually show anything from dresses to jewellery and even makeup on your own body.

With cupboards hiding an estimated $23 billion worth of unwanted clothing, and with an average of around thirty-six of those outfits from approximately seventy-five garments in those wardrobes having never been worn or even donated to charity, Shopexp could help.

The new unisex ‘smart’ mirrors, not only save money and wardrobe space, they offer the first digital shopping experience of its kind in Australia, where you can try before you buy – so to speak.

It consists of two mirrors, one for the face and another for the full body, so clothes, makeup, jewellery and even eyewear, can be tried out virtually before spending a cent.

If the item you have virtually tried on works, it can be bought straight from the mirror.

“The Online Retailer expo and the people in the industry there gave me the motivation. Everyone was talking about online and bricks and mortar stores competing with one another, so I decided to come up with something in between,” explained founder of Shopexp and the smart mirror, Chandan Panda.

“This is not only a mirror, but a three-dimensional, mobile digital pop-up store. For example, Nike might not have a physical presence at a shopping centre, but they could just have a few of these mirrors and a variation of clothes and different sizes, to virtually try on. Purchases would then be made directly.

The idea is that it caters for both online and offline, and drives online customers instore, and instore customers online.”

Mr Chandan is in talks with major shopping, fashion, beauty, jewellery brands and is aiming to get the digital pop-up mirrors in shopping centres across the country.

Chandan Panda, founder and director of Shopexp showcased the new Smart Mirrors at the Online Retailer Expo and Conference at the International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC) on Wednesday, July 24th and Thursday July 25th 2019.
