Getting back into fitness after a seriously long time away from it is not easy, but a few mindset changes can make all the difference.

It’s not easy after such major shifts in the world to get your mojo back and get into a fitness routine, especially if weightloss is your goal. But there are simple and easy ways to make it work so you can get that booty back.

Once you engage in something you enjoy, you will feel the benefits quickly, and want to do more.

Try a new type of class; there are a lot of new fitness classes around, and now is a better time than ever to try something new. From pilates to indoor cycling, yoga or running clubs, push yourself to try something new. You might even like it.

It’s ok to go to the back of the class: Getting back into fitness without the stress is all about an understated approach. Even if you are regularly one of the people right at the front of a class, this is a great time to go to the back and ease into it gradually.

Don’t tell anyone; Lots of expert advice says to train with a friend to your get your fitness mojo back, but after so long out of the game, start small and go your own way. Train with a friend when you are feeling stronger and more confident.

Stretching; This can be a good way to open up the body and remind yourself what it feels like to push a bit. Stretching can easily be done in the confines of your own home in front of the TV and makes you feel fabulous before you’ve even started to workout.
