Non-Drinkers Rejoice: World’s First Non-Alcoholic Spirit Is Coming to Oz

Yes, you read that right.

The world’s first distilled non-alcoholic spirit will reach Australia just in time for summer.

Gather around responsible drinkers, designated drivers and twenty-something grandmas and brace yourselves for this epic game-changer.

Ben Branson, a UK-based botany enthusiast and solver of first-world problems, has created the solution to the dilemma of what to drink when you’re not drinking.

Branson is a country boy and lives in a 14th century cottage in the Chilterns. With 300 years of farming in his family and a previous career in brand design, Branson founded Seedlip in his kitchen with a copper still and a copy of ‘The Art of Distillation’ printed in 1651.

Seedlip is the world’s first distilled non-alcoholic spirit, and is available in two delicious varieties: Seedlip Garden 108, a bright and herbal spirit inspired by Branson’s family farm and Seedlip Spice 94, a combination of Jamaican all spices and American Oak.

Since its launch, a mere 18 months ago, it has already garnered numerous awards worldwide.

Another reason to drink Branson’s sophisticated creation this summer?

It’s sugar-free, sweetener-free, calorie-free, hangover-free and guilt-free.

Seedlip can be found on the shelves of some of the world’s leading bars and Michelin starred restaurants. This includes New York’s Eleven Madison Park, currently the number one restaurant in the world.

This is quite an impressive resume for such a young drink.

As someone who is a self-confessed twenty-something grandma, the conundrum of what to drink when you’re not drinking is an all too common dilemma.

When I order a mocktail, it is only ever to feel as fancy as my ladies sipping on their drinks that came straight out of a mixologist’s dream.

Whilst mocktails may look sophisticated, they are really just a fancy way of saying ‘juice’.

Enter Seedlip.

Come summer and you desire a drink with more taste than water, but healthier than soda – a Seedlip cocktail will hit the spot.

Seedlip will retail at $49.99 a bottle, and even though an official launch date hasn’t been set yet, we here at Bondi Beauty are already getting excited.

We’ll cheers to responsible drinking this summer.
