There is nothing quite like heading down to the beach with your best mates to kick back and enjoy an ice-cold drink as you soak up that Summer sun. 

To make this picture-perfect scenario 10 times better, how about swapping out that cooling bevvy for a boozy popsicle instead.

These 4 easy recipes are guaranteed to be a party pleaser at your next Summer get-together.

Tequila Sunrise

Ingredients:

3 ½ cups frozen pineapple

2 cups pineapple juice

½ cup tequila

1 tsp. grenadine for each popsicle

Method:

Combine the frozen pineapple, pineapple juice and tequila in a blender.

Pour mixture into popsicle moulds and add a teaspoon of grenadine to each. (Don’t mix the grenadine in as it will sink to the bottom on its own.

Add popsicle sticks to each mould and freeze overnight.

Moscow Mule

Ingredients:

3 cups ginger-beer 

½ cup vodka

6 tbsp. lime juice

1 tsp. lime zest

Method:

Combine all ingredients in a pitcher.

Stir mixture together.

Pour into popsicle moulds and add popsicle sticks.

Pop into the freezer overnight.

Strawberry Daquiri

Strawberry Daiquiri popsicles surrounded by lime wedges.
Keep calm and have a Strawberry Daiquiri popsicle.

Ingredients:

2 cups frozen strawberries

1 lime, juiced

½ cup rum

Method:

In a food processor blend all the ingredients together.

Pour into popsicle moulds and add popsicle sticks.

Freeze overnight.

Mango Mojito

Mango Mojito Popsicles with limes surrounding.
It takes two to mango!

Ingredients:

2 mangoes (chopped)

½ rum

1 lime, juiced

2 tbsp. sugar

2 tsp. chopped mint

½ cup water

Method:

Blend together mango, rum, lime juice and sugar.

Add mint and water and re-blend.

Pour into moulds and add popsicle sticks.

Place in freezer overnight.
