We all know sugar is bad for us, and thanks to ingredients like rice syrup, agave nectar and stevia, which make the perfect replacement for your regular sugar. You can now enjoy a sweet treat, without the guilt.

Loaded with protein, these snacks are perfect post workout, or when enjoying a lazy Sunday afternoon.
PEANUT BUTTER & RASPBERRY SMOOTHIE
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup raspberries frozen
1/2 banana(s) frozen
1 tablespoon peanut butter or your favourite nut butter
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1/2 lemon(s) juiced and zested
1 sprig mint optional
1 cup coconut water
METHOD:
- Put all ingredients into a blender and blend for 30-60 seconds until well combined.
- Pour into a serving glass and top with a raspberry or two and a sprig of mint
RASPBERRY & COCONUT MUFFINS
Option: You change the granulated stevia blend to rice malt syrup
INGREDIENTS:
1 teaspoon coconut oil melted
2 1/2 cups almond meal
1 teaspoon cinnamon (ground)
1 teaspoon baking powder
4 medium free range egg(s) beaten
1/4 cup coconut oil melted
1/4 cup stevia (granular sweetener) or rice malt syrup
1 cup raspberries
1/4 cup coconut flakes
METHOD:
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Combine almond meal, cinnamon and baking powder in a large bowl.
- Add the eggs, oil and stevia and mix thoroughly.
- Carefully fold in the berries and coconut. If the mixture is very thick, add 1/2 cup of water and mix thoroughly.
- Spoon mixture into lightly greased muffin tins (10-12).
- Bake for approximately 30 minutes or until a skewer inserted comes out clean
