Crawling became a bit of hit back in 2014, when it took to social media out of Asia, as a popular sport to get fit and healthy, and now it looks to be heading to Australia.
The new toddler-inspired fitness trend, being dubbed as the new planking replacement, specialises in strengthening the core and toning the body. It also requires zero equipment as the whole class is spent on your knees, hovering one to two inches of the ground.

Well, now’s your chance to become one. Thanks to ‘No Ripples’ locations across Australia; a leading mermaid school founded in Sydney, you can now splash around a pool and pretend you’re a mermaid.
But don’t think you get off easy, there will be no lounging on rocks. Mermaid classes are a fusion of swimming, core, aerobics and dance, and are a seriously good workout.
There’s nothing worse than watching the countdown to your last cycle in a spin class. Those last gruelling seconds as you peddle harder up an imaginary hill (or mountain) are almost unbearable.
But, what if you could distract yourself by singing your way through those last torture seconds? Well, now you can. Cycle Karaoke is fast becoming a favourite fitness class in the USA. Basically you cycle away to some of your favourite tunes, and sing along to the lyrics (out aloud), which are displayed on a large screen in front of you.
This is a new pilates inspired workout on a skateboard. Yes, a skateboard. Thanks to French trainer Raphael Doub; the fitness guru who created the Colette Skate Gym in Paris, and the success of Skateboarding Pilates in France, this new fitness trend will be heading over to Australia in late 2017.
The class is said to challenge your ability of strength, flexibility and balance, as you carefully navigate your way through a core strengthening class, whilst standing on skateboard.
