There’s nothing sexier than a flat tummy. Many assume when we put food into our stomach, it will expand, but some food promotes a flat tummy by aiding digestion.

It’s super important to know the outcome of eating different food, because some just may not agree with you, leaving you feeling bloated, clogged and uncomfortable.

When Kate Moss needs to get into shape quickly, she eats quinoa in her cereal for breakfast because eating grains such as these will boost your metabolism and burn belly fat faster. Quinoa can also be added to salads, muffins, cakes, soups and stir-fries.

Natural yoghurt

Yoghurt is a natural probiotic, which can relieve bloating and discomfort in the stomach. According to Michael Zemel, professor and nutritionist from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (2013), fat around your waist produces a hormone, which signals the body to produce more flat in that area. When you eat yoghurt, the calcium signals your fat cells to pump out less cortisol, therefore making it easier to loose weight.

Papaya

Papaya contains a naturally-occurring enzyme called papain, which aids the digestion of protein. Papaya helps the break down food faster, easing bloating and flattening your belly. Try papaya cut up with greek yoghurt and sprinkled with passion fruit.
