5 Mindfulness Affirmations You Will Love

5 Mindfulness affirmations you need in your life right now.

You don’t need to be a spiritual guru to use affirmations. Hack your mind by using these simple affirmations to change the way you think about yourself, others and the world.

An affirmation is a positive statement that you can use to help you challenge and overcome self-sabotaging and negative thoughts and mindsets.

Try writing down your affirmations.

There is overwhelming evidence that your thoughts become your reality. Leading psychologist Jennice Vilhauer asserts ‘there are three buckets in life-  things we control, things we influence, and things over which we have no control.’

What we control begins with how we perceive, interpret and think about the events in our life. Naturally we generate feelings about these events and our behaviour follows these feelings. It is in our actions that we must exert control and take responsibility.

The benefits of using mindfulness affirmations are similar to that of exercise. When you continue to use positive affirmations on a regular basis you will begin to see results- namely that you will start to believe them. Ultimately in believing these affirmations you will have the ability to change your outlook and behaviours and achieve your goals.

Try writing them on a piece of paper and putting them somewhere you will see them everyday.

1. I am enough.

You are enough means that you don’t have to strive to become more worthy, valid or acceptable because you are already all of these things.

2. I attract positive energy.

This affirmation is powerful because it enables you to home in on all that is good in your life and see your brightness for what it is.

3. I am prioritising my happiness.

Happiness may be a vague term to some but knowing what makes you happy and fulfilled is arguable one of the most important things in life. Fill your cup by prioritising your happiness every day.

4. I will not worry about things out of my control.

Reminding yourself daily that there is no point in worrying about things out of your control is imperative to your happiness.

5. My Feelings are allowed to be here.

Remembering that we can’t control how we feel is so empowering no matter what your going though. Whether its stabs of jealousy that seemingly appear out of thin air or a blanket of sadness that seems to encapsulate our soul. Sitting with these emotions and allowing yourself to feel them until they dissipate is powerful in and of itself.

Use these affirmations in the morning, throughout the day and at night. If you are a visual person try writing them down or setting them as your screensaver so you can be reminded of them throughout the day.
