Bondi is jammed with healthy eateries – here are five of our favourite clean eating cafes/restaurants – tried and tested by us. You’re welcome.
Banana Blossom – Asian Fusion Salads
Banana Blossom is an Asian inspired salad bar that caters for Vegans, Vegetarians and Gluten free. The fresh produce supplied to Banana Blossom for their salads, has been sourced from farmers that don’t use pesticide on their crops.
Which is a refreshing change from your commercial grade foods. I love eating salads and Asian food on a regular basis, so Banana Blossom is one of my favourite choices to eat when in Bondi.
Our Pick: Their most popular dish is the Tokyo Classic, which boasts their signature Green Tea infused Soba Noodles. However, I also recommend trying their Coconut Chicken salad with friend noodles.

Calipress – Fresh fruit and vegetable juices and wholefoods
Calipress are well known for their juices (which are amazing by the way). Following true to the latest trends, Calipress make an amazing Acai bowl, which we believe is one of the best in Sydney.
Although their menu only provides a smaller variety of foods to eat, compared to other cafes in the area. They are the prefect portion for that light breakfast or lunch on a warm day. Calipress is a great choice for Vegans, Vegetarians and also have Gluten free.
Our pick (apart from the Acai bowl of course), is the Frittata square. Served with their signature super green pesto, its a great option for both Breakfast and Lunch and perfect for those of you on the go as you can eat it cold too.
Where: 2/16 Hall Street, Bondi

Bondi Banh Mi – Vietnamese
Bondi Banh Mi is a great option for those on the run and looking for a healthy take away option. Their specialty is Rice Paper Rolls with either pre-made filling, or a filling of your choosing.
However, they also serve up a great selection of Wonton and Noodle soups. Banh Mi has a great option for those wanting an easy meal to take down to the beach, to enjoy the surf or watch the sunset. Their menu also caters for Vegans, Vegetarians and Gluten free.
Our Pick: On a cooler day, we recommend the Prawn and Pork Wonton soup. However, if the sun is out, try their satay inspired vegetable rice paper rolls.
Where: Shop 9, 152-162 Campbell Parade, Bondi
Sadhana – Vegan wholefoods and modern cuisine
Sadhana is new to Bondi Beach and are affiliated with the Enmore location. Their menu focus is wholefood Vegan, and is mouth-watering even for those who aren’t Vegan.
As Sadhana is new to Bondi, they are the new hot spot for places to eat out in Bondi, so be prepared to wait a bit if you decide to wander on down at peak eating times.
Our Pick: Their most popular dish is the Bondi Bowl, which we highly recommend. It is a great choice for either breakfast or lunch.
Where: 132 Warners Road, Bondi Beach

Lox Stock and Barrel – Modern cuisine and wholefoods
You need to get in early if you want to enjoy the amazing Breakfast menu of Lox Stock and Barrel. But the wait is worth it. Lox Stock and Barrel provide a very upbeat modern take on their healthy food options for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
The café boasts a trendy and comfortable style thanks to the friendly staff and boppy tunes played in the background. Lox Stock and Barrel also cater for Vegans, Vegetarians and Gluten free.
Our Pick: If you are looking for something warming and unusual to try, order their signature dish, the Bowlarama. This dish is a complimentary combination of poached eggs, seaweed, vegetables and a side of Quinoa toast.
Where: 140 Glenayr Avenue, Bondi
