Your Spring Skin Checklist

It’s spring, time to look at your skin and give it a re-boot.

As the weather  warms up, it’s time to step up your beauty routine and clean away the winter blues.

From head to toe, we have searched for the best spring prep beauty products which smooth, freshen, and make your skin glow for spring.

Before starting any skincare routine, you should always cleanse away excess makeup and dirt with a good cleanser both morning and night to ensure you start with a fresh palette. This also allows the skin to soak up all the delicious nutrients you use to manage your skin.

IT Cosmetics are releasing a beautiful new cleanser called ‘Confidence in a Cleanser’ in late September. It will be available at all Sephora stores across Australia and it’s a must-have cleanser to add to your list. Completely chemical-free and cruelty-free, this brand delivers rich hydrating nutrients and vitamins to your skin whilst cleansing.

Another effective way to cleanse your skin is with a clay mask. After washing away any makeup, apply your favourite clay mask and let it sink into your pores for at least three minutes. We love the new green clay mask by Cedar and Stone Botanicals. The clay grabs onto any dirt stuck deep into the pores & pulls it out when you wash the mask off. Clay masks are also a great way to stabilise any skin conditions.

Scrub away dead skin cells:

Exfoliating all year around is important, as it help promote the growth of new skin cells. After winter, when your skin has been dry and combating the dehydration caused from heaters and zapped of nourishment from all the wind, it’s super important to up your anty on exfoliation in Spring, so your skin is ready for summer.

Toners are seriously understated when it comes to skincare, as most don’t realise how much your skin can benefit from using one. Not only do they prep the skin for products applications after a good cleanse and exfoliation, toner also helps reduce the appearance of pores by shrinking them.

Raw Organic Skincare have a deliciously smelling Restore Toner ($25) made with Calendula and Cucumber to help with redness, inflammation and sooth the skin for a glowing complexion.
