We Tried & Tested 7 Body Lotions To Bring You The Very Best For Dry Skin

Keep your skin well hydrated this spring, with one of these seven beautiful body lotions.

As spring approaches, our bodies start to adjust to the transitional weather of cold to hot, dry to wet and of course if you live in Sydney, wild winds too.

To battle dry skin, that can appear at this time of year, we tried and tested a range of body lotions and came up with these top seven:

Nivea Crème $9.16

Nivea is one of the highest selling body creams in the world.

This body cream is excellent if you have very dry skin. Nivea Crème is the original cream formulation by Nivea,  created in 1911.

It’s a classic moisturiser, which is preservative free and although suited to most skin types, it’s rich creamy texture; which includes paraffin, a well-known ingredient for rich hydration.

The Body Shop Almond Milk & Honey Soothing & Restoring Body Butter $28

Perfect for all skin types, this body butter has been specially formulated to restore and protect your skin against harsh weather conditions and provide 48 hours of intense hydration to help calm tight itchy and dry skin.

Enriched with organic almond milk and honey to provide much-needed nutrients to your skin. This body butter is very silky to use, but don’t expect a strong scent to go with it. The scent of almond and honey is very subtle.

Endota Spa Organics Vanilla & Macadamia Body Drink $50

This is a beautifully fragranced body lotion. Loaded with ingredients such as aloe vera and native extracts, to help provide skin with the ultimate hydration, it’s suited to all skin types.

This lotion is silky to use and absorbs fast into the skin, leaving no greasy residue, which can often occur IN lotions that contain many different essential oils. Scientifically formulated for Australian skin, you will find your skin silky and soft all day long with this lotion.

Jergens Soothing Aloe Refreshing Moisturiser $8.99

If you spend a lot of time outdoors under the sun, this is the perfect body lotion to use. With added ingredients of aloe and cucumber, this lotion is fast absorbing and helps to improve skin tone and texture, leaving skin hydrated and refreshed.

The formulation of this cream is very light and easy to wear, so if you do need to re-apply throughout the day, it’s easy to do so.

June Jacobs Ultra-Light Citrus Moisturiser $80.00

True to its name, this moisturiser is ultra-light, easy to wear and smells like oranges. When it comes to skincare, June Jacobs nails it every time, to deliver a product which helps you with whatever skin concerns you have.

Although this moisturiser is light to wear, thanks to added ingredients like humectants, hyaluronic acid and jojoba seed extract, this lotion will rapidly remedy dehydrated skin, leaving you feeling silky and smooth all day long.

Clemence Organics Ultimate Hand & Body Lotion $49.95

Formulated by Naturopath Bridget Carmady, this body lotion is certified organic and made with delicious ingredients such as organic rosehip, essential minerals and vitamins, shea nut oil and calendula wax.

Perfect for all skin types, this a light moisturiser which also helps heal premature sign of ageing in the skin. From scarring to pigmentation and sun spots, this cream provides much needed soothing for many skin concerns.

If you’re travelling, try the SOS Balm by Clemence Organics $49.95 as well. Made with the same ingredients as the hand & body lotion, you activate the balm by rubbing between your hands and then applying where needed on the body and face.
