Say no to dry skin with these six organic skincare products to keep your skin healthy and hydrated this winter.

With winter well on its way, now is the perfect time to update your skincare routine.

Winterproof your skincare routine by checking out these six organic skincare products to keep your skin healthy and hydrated during the cold winter months.

1. Youth To The People Kale + Spinach + Green Tea Age Prevention Cleanser RRP $36.00

This 100% organic cleanser is like a green juice for your face. Packed with goodies including kale, spinach and green tea, it is a gentle cleanser that is suitable for all skin types. I use this product to do a double cleanse and it helps to remove any leftover makeup while leaving your skin feeling plump and clean afterwards. Plus, as a creamy cleanser it is perfect for winter, as when the weather changes they provide extra moisture and help skin adjust to cold, winter air.

2. Burt’s Bees Complete Nourishment Facial Oil RRP $37.95

Packed with hydrators such as jojoba oil and evening primrose oil, this product will keep your skin hydrated and nourished. Don’t be afraid of an oil, use it little by little, and apply under your moisturizer to give your skin extra nourishment.  This includes Vitamin E and rosehip extract to help soothe and restore the skin.  I find that putting this on before moisturiser leaves your skin leaving plump and hydrated. What’s great about this oil is that it absorbs on your skin beautifully and doesn’t leave an oily or greasy residue.

3. June Jacobs Perfect Pumpkin Peeling Masque RRP $65.00

This is an amazing product that I fell in love with at first try. Unlike other masks, this comes out in a clear, gel like texture that instantly leaves your skin feeling pampered. I love products where you can see instant results and this mask does that. It is perfect for winter as it gives the skin an instant boost of hydration and is suitable for those with dry, dull and dehydrated skin. Containing an arsenal of fatty acids, minerals and Vitamins C and E to boost collagen production. With a distinct pumpkin smell, this leaves your skin feeling pampered straightaway. Perfect before a big event to give your skin a boost of hydration and provide you with a healthy and supple glow.

4. Rohr Remedy Lilly Pilly & Omega 3 Face Moisturiser RRP $32.00

With high concentration of antioxidants, this is a great everyday moisturiser for winter. It contains a blend of Omega 3 combinations of Rice Bran and Macadamia oil to help restore the skin’s balance. The astringent extract of Lilly Pilly also provides gentle exfoliation, leaving the skin soft and smooth. This feels lightweight on your skin, absorbs easily and perfect for those with sensitive skin.

5. Lush Full of Grace Serum RRP: $15.95

Unlike most serums, this product comes in the form of a small bar of soap. You apply it by warming it on your fingertips or by gently massaging it onto your skin. With fresh Portobello mushroom and murumuru butter, this product will protect and condition your skin. You can use this product in the morning and in nighttime however I tend to use it as an overnight serum as it can be a bit too overpowering to wear under moisturizer. By leaving it on your skin all night, it will give your skin the extra nourishment it needs. In the morning, I notice that my skin is softer, hydrated and plump. You have to be careful as the product easily melts so be cautious as to where you store it. Overall, it is an amazing and affordable product to keep your skin hydrated and nourished during the tough winter months.

6. Mario Badescu Facial Spray With Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater RRP $9.00

This is a gentle, hydrating mist you can use anytime, anywhere. With a strong rosewater smell, it’s a great mist to bring with you on the go and can be applied as much as you want especially when your skin is feeling tight or uncomfortable. Plus, this affordable product can also be used as a makeup setting spray.
