Natural Beauty secrets of Isabel Lucas

Australian Actress and environmentalist Isabel Lucas is the embodiment of natural beauty.

From naturally glowing skin to fully groomed brows and bright lips, Lucas always sports a fresh natural look to be envied by all.

This is how she masters the natural beauty look.

Whether she is residing in her LA home, or back in Sydney visiting family, Lucas starts her mornings anywhere between 6.30am to 7am, listening to her favourite tunes, whilst chilling with a cup of green tea.

Her daily skincare routine normally consists of splashing her face with water, along with a few drops of doTerra lavender oil, before cleansing with Santé by Enjo cleansers.

The fine fibres from these cleansers lift off any impurities on the skin. Being an environmentalist, Lucas doesn’t use any chemicals as she believes they aren’t good for your skin and when used whilst washing your skin, these chemicals then get washed out into the ocean.

After cleansing, Lucas moisturises with Dr Hauschka day cream, followed by a good coat of Green Foots Mama sunscreen; which is an organic based sun balm.

Made from heavenly raw chocolate and lavender scented, the Green Foots Mama sunscreen is power packed with natural antioxidants to help provide chemical free protection against harmful UV rays. The cream has no chemicals, no perfumes and is synthetic free; meaning it’s safe for the planet also. Containing no coral bleaching chemicals, it can be worn all day in the ocean without causing any damage to the eco-system. No wonder Lucas loves it.

In the morning, Lucas dedicates some time to body stretches, which helps with blood flow and oxygen throughout the body. She also tries to attend yoga at least twice a week and walks every day.

Being a beach lover, she always tries to take her walk along the beach, so she can go for a swim afterwards, as she finds this revitalising after a very stressful day.

As part of her beauty routine, when Lucas is visiting Sydney, she always checks herself in with Zen Facialist Fumi Yamamoto. Fumi’s skincare practice; located in Bronte, specialises in appreciating inner beauty and caring for the soul, when it comes to skincare.

When it comes to food, especially breakfast, Lucas likes hearty foods such as eggs, zucchini, gluten-free toast and spinach to help charge her day.

Her advice is to always shops from local markets who sell GMO free foods, as organic foods are the best for you. This is important, as it reduces the amount of chemicals you are digesting, which also reflects in your skin.
