5 Sydney Day Spas You Wont Want To Miss

the best day spa in Sydney

There are still some say spa restrictions in Sydney, but most are open for business. These are five Sydney spas we are loving right now.

If being in isolation has taught us beauties anything, it’s how much we missed beauty salons.

And although home beauty tech helped us through our darkest times, there is nothing like being pampered in a first-class beauty salon where it’s not just about the treatment, it’s about the setting and the beautician, making it luxury worth paying for.

From the moment you enter, serenity and tranquility bring you back down to earth, whilst you sit back and treat your skin, be pampered and treat your soul at the same time.

And this goes for both clinical and non clinical treatments, from facelifts to more natural therapeutic treatments.

These five Sydney salons provide as much self-care as you need, just make sure you leave your mobile in your locker.

Day Spa by Chuan – The Langham Hotel Sydney

Located in the basement of this five-star luxury hotel in The Rocks, Day Spa by Chuan had a $30 million facelift in 2014, and is one of the best places for a massage in Sydney and to escape the world.

Upon checking in you are handed a plush robe to change into and slippers, before being taken to the gorgeous heated indoor swimming pool to help you relax and unwind before your treatment.

This is gold class pampering at its finest, with a heated swimming pool to help alleviate any tensions in the body, and perfectly cultured spa treatments using German beauty brand Babor. It’s the perfect place to slip away from city life into an underground slice of heaven away from the hustle and bustle. Being underground, your phone will struggle to receive calls, a blessing in disguise.

Access to the pool and the fitness centre are usually included in the entry fee into Day Spa By Chuan. However, these are currently closed due to  COVID-19 restrictions. But if you are attending a luxury duo facial treatment with your bestie, why not book the Afternoon Tea add on in the hotel afterwards.

Treatments include luxurious facials, massage therapies and body scrubs. One-hour facial treatments start from $240. You can also design your very own bespoke facial treatment for around $225 for an hour, where your therapist will personalise the experience depending on your specific needs.

Prices start from $200 for a one-hour massage treatment and you can then add on any facial treatments which start from around $120.

Amy Jean Brow Agency – Double Bay

Okay, so this isn’t a face and body spa treatment salon like the ones above, but it’s certainly still worth a mention.

It is new and located in the InterContinental Hotel in Double Bay. With its gold bannisters and marble walls, fresh flowers, candles and luxe fabrics, this brow agency explores luxury in a whole new fashion, bringing a little bit of European beauty to Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs.
