Covergirl’s acivewear foundation range, healthy snacks from Eimele, and Maui’s new detoxifying hair-care range – Here are some of the incredible beauty launches the BB team attended this month:

Covergirl Active Foundation:

Covergirl launched their amazing new outlast Active foundation and Active eye liner and Active mascara specifically for working out.

The event was held at Shelter in Double Bay, where fitness bloggers road tested the product range during a spin class.

The foundation promises 24 hour medium to heavy coverage that lasts through an entire workout as well as a whole day.

Maui Moisture Detoxifying Volcanic Ash:

The new Maui Moisture Detoxifying Volcanic Ash Haircare range was launched by @portabello PR at Edwards &Co hair agency.

The new products are based on aloe juice as base ingredient (unlike many other hair care products that have water as a base).The Volcanic Ash products also contain coconut water, and aim to detoxify the hair.

The launch included a Hawaiian style vegan lunch, nail bar and blow dry bar.The vegan, eco-friendly products contain no silicones, parabens, or mineral oil.

Maui Haircare

Eimele Healthy Snacks:

Hosted by Two Birds Talking at the beautiful La Porte Space in Rosebery, Eimele launched their new nutritional health range of foods ranging from soups, to powders, to bars and more. Media and influencers were invited along to participate in making their own breakfast inspired by the new range, which included a large variety of fresh fruits, nuts and seeds. Guests were also treated to a talk by vegan fitness expert Simon Hill, nutritionist Jacqueline Alwill (founder of the Brown Paper Bag) and Aussie model, actress and Miss Universe Francesca Hung about the nw range also.

Fitbit 80’s Dance Party:

Bondi Beauty founder Rebae-Leith Manos attended Fit Bit’s 80’s aerobics class at Luna Park for @fitbit. Hundreds of people packed into Luna Park to do an 80’s style aerobics class for Fitbit “Free Your Fit’ event.

The workout event as for all ages and Fitness Levels to celebrate the launch of 2 new Fitbits (add story link).

It was a public event where participants were asked to register online, but Bondi Beauty founder Renae Leith-Manos was invited as part of the VIP team to participate.

80’s hair and make-up styling was provided before a boat ride to Luna Park, and the best dancers on the day were awarded great prizes.

Steph Rice Launches Swimming ‘How To’ Guide:

Aussie Olympian Swimmer Stephanie Rice has launched a new downloadable How To Guide to swimming accessible to anyone of any age, where you can master her techniques on swimming and the best way to exercise in the pool. Media were invited to attend an intimate training session with Stephanie Rice, where they got into the new underground heated training pool of Fitness First on George Street in Sydney. Guests were then treated to a light breakfast afterwards and a Q&A with Stephanie Rice.
