Get Your Hair Ready for Spring With These NEW Hair Products

Spring is the best time to get your hair refreshed with these new hair products.

Spring is all about fresh new starts and new beginnings. Time to ditch the beanie and scarf and show off your latest flowing spring hairstyle.

We’ve tried and tested some amazing new cruelty-free and vegan hair products which not only wash away the winter vibes to reveal soft flowing spring locks, they also help repair any damage caused from the cold weather.

Function of Beauty: Personalised Haircare

Personalised beauty is so on trend, where you can create and design anything  and everything in beauty yourself, from lipsticks to foundations and now haircare. All of which have been created to suit your individual need.

Function of Beauty are a beautiful American haircare brand who build shampoos and conditioners to suit your unique hair. This is perfect if you who suffer emotional hair (like me) where you need to change your shampoo and conditioner every month depending on its mood.

By creating your very own personalised shampoo and conditioner containing ingredients to help tame your locks, you are essentially providing what your hair needs daily, without the need to cocktail your haircare products (which is when you chop and change regularly).

To create your own personalised shampoo and conditioner, you simply fill out a questionnaire on the Function of Beauty website, about your hair type providing details like whether your hair is curly, straight, dry or has split ends and then you finish off picking a scent a colour. Prices start from $36 for two eight ounce bottles to $49 for two 16 ounce bottles.

Fudge Professional:

Okay so Fudge is obviously not new. However, they have rebranded and redeveloped new formulas to provide unique treatments for all types of hair. And their new range is now completely gluten free and vegan and cost around $21.99 a bottle.

Part of this new release is their Cooling Brunette range, which works to tone out any red and orange colour from lightening hair and uses a revolutionary new technology called Opti-Plex to repair the hair from the inside and out.

So not only does it treat and repair any damage on the outside of the hair cell, it also soaks deeply into the cell of the hair to repair any damage on the inside. Promoting strong, healthy hair, with a beautiful shine. Perfect for showing off those coloured locks in a warm spring breeze.

If you need an extra shine boost to your hair after winter, their new Luminzer; which can be used on any hair type, provides the ultimate in hydration to dry hair whilst using the same Opti-Plex technology to repair any damage. All fudge products are also silicon free.

Suited for all hair types, this beautiful hairfood range is available in a Shampoo and Conditioner ($18.50 each) and a Leave in Conditioner & Spray ($23.50) which all penetrate deeply into the hair cells to boost health, add lustre, shine and softness to the hair – naturally.

Noughty Haircare:

Designed mostly for curly, wavy or frizzy hair, Noughty have released a fresh new range of hair styling products to help you define the curl and control the fuzz.

Their Wave Hello Curl Defining Cream ($14.99) controls curls with definition without leaving any heavy residue of product on the hair but uses enough weight to control hair for any curly do. A little does go a long way and the cream can be used on both wet and dry hair. However, for the best result definitely apply to clean damp hair to help lock in moisture fore a smooth, well defined curl.

Their To the Rescue Anti-Frizz Serum ($14.99) can be used any sort of hair. However, we wouldn’t recommend it for oily hair. If you do have very oily hair and super dry ends, apply a very small amount to the ends only. Otherwise, for those of you with frizzy, dry, damaged or curly hair, this serum is perfect once hair has been dried or styled to help treat, nourish and contain your look.
