Beauty Review: Trialing the Liquid Rays Bronzing Drops by Sunset Daze

Gone are the days of wearing thick sunscreens, heavy foundations and concealers and powders to look good. We think the Liquid Rays Bronzing Drops by Sunset Daze replacing them all.

Sunset Daze was founded by a sister and brother who, and we quote ‘love to get dazed’. Created in Melbourne, the 2 believe beauty stretches far beyond a good serum, foundation or lip tint, and think beauty should be about feeling carefree, illuminated and comfortable in your own skin.

Their revolutionary Sunset Daze reflects golden hour on a summer’s evening, being surrounded by loved ones, at the beach, tropical location, or fave summer spot, basking in the glow of a dazzling summer sunset.

This blissful idea of summer, translates into a serum rich tint, the liquid rays bronzing drops, designed to give sun protection, nourish and hydrate skin, add some tint along the way, and make skin glow, without having to use foundation if you prefer not to. But of course, can be added to foundation if needed.

We put the bronzing drops to the test, here what the team’s response was to trialling them out.

“These drops are the ultimate in natural beauty. More like a tint foundation a great way to give my skin a healthy, natural glow and are super easy to use.  I travelled with them in Europe this summer, and loved them. They give more coverage than expected.

The texture is quite viscous and smooth, and I prefer to add two drops to my super light daily moisturiser and smooth it on. I can go without make-up on a warm day, or pop makeup over the top and my skin looks a touch darker.

I also like using the drops on my chest and even neck when it is exposed. The fragrance is fresh – I like it. I would definitely buy this product”. 7.5/10

“I found this is a really easy way to have a natural glow on the face and body all year round.

Excellent in winter when I am feeling really pale. I add it to my foundation to take the colour up a few notches and really give myself a glow.

“The perfect solution to achieving the no make up, make up look. I love how you can mix these drops either into your moisturiser, direct onto the skin for a nice natural glow, or add to your foundation for a softening and hydrated look to skin.

I am not a fan of heavy foundations or powders as they age my skin, which is why I was intrigues to try these drops as a replacement to a natural makeup look, which is often a combination of moisturiser and powder.

“I used this product every morning for my daily makeup look. The drops gave me a nice glow with a soft matte finish. It also worked as a good alternative to using my sunscreen product, and reduced my time of getting ready in the morning.

It’s light weight, has sun protection and is long lasting, leaving skin feeling soft and glowing.
