Three Different Skin Types, Three Very Different Facials

Different skins require different facials.

Global traveller Renae, beauty socialite Marielle and organic yogi Rebecca trialled the NEW Mesoestetic skincare range at the Skin Rescue Centre in Double Bay.

It’s the time of year when everyone’s skin is at it’s worst. Too many long days at the office, too many christmas parties, and too many cocktails.

We couldn’t say no to a luxe one hour session to put our skin back on track.

Three Bondi Beauties of varying ages and stages  with very different skin types, and concerns went off to Double Bay for a skin treat.

Mesoestetic skincare, are one of the world’s leading pioneering pharmaceutical skincare brands, who specialise in the field of dermatology and cosmetic medicine for all types of women, from all over the globe.

The brand mixes science with botanicals to create unique formulas to help women combat anti-ageing, high pigmentation, acne scarring and control breakouts.

Renae Leith-Manos, founder of Bondi Beauty:

“I loved my therapist who was Spanish and seemed to know just what my skin needed. She included a gorgeous face neck and even scalp massage which was heaven, and really took the whole treatment to a new level.

I enjoyed cleansing, steam treatment, cream mask then  a sheet mask  as well as a foot, hand and scalp massage during the times the masks were doing their magic.

Given how time poor we all are, I was so grateful fro every minute to be utilised to pajero me in so many different ways. When I left, my skin was firm and glowing and still is a few days later.

To me, this was the ultimate Christmas present, and a reminder of how important it is to give to myself as well as this around me.”

Marielle Punzal, Bondi Beauty contributor:

“After my skin analysis, it was identified I had a lot of skin pigmentation, clogged pores (due to wearing heavy makeup on a daily basis), blackheads (including some old acne scars) and dull skin.

I had a classic facial to get me started, which was followed by a lot of products containing Vitamin C, which hydrate and boost the skin’s complexion. I was also advised, for a long-term fix to my skin issues, I should definitely try a LED treatment, which helps reduce scaring. LED treatments are followed by an antibacterial gel, which helps to stop further breakouts too. Which would be great, because my skin is combination to oily, and I am quite prone to breakouts.

For me the Mesoestetic skincare range are a win, afterwards I felt like my skin was glowing, and it was definitely much brighter and more hydrated.”

Rebecca Wilkinson, Bondi Beauty contributor:

“My main skin concerns have always been congestion, excess oiliness and of course breakouts; especially when it’s that very special time of the month (sigh). And although I do try and get regular decongesting facials done, even with a savvy beauty routine at home – there are always those times throughout the year, where it just doesn’t seem like anything works.

So, imagine my surprise when the therapist told me after my skin analysis – it was in pretty good condition. Apart from some sun damage, which probably stemmed from my youth. My facial started with a micro treatment; which is when tiny little crystals get pumped into your cells to clear out any congestion – which feels amazing.

Afterwards, I was treated with all things collagen, from a mask, to serum to a moisturiser. Something I have never had done before. My skin was so plump and dewy afterwards from all the collagen and two days later – still going strong.”

Marielle, Rebecca and Renae feeling refreshed and revitalised after their facial treatments, using the beautiful Mesoestetic skincare range.

The Skin Rescue Centre in Double Bay, are a dedicated facial clinic, who use the latest technologies and advances, which all help promote healthier, younger-looking skin and appearances. Their treatments are designed to suit busy women, who require results oriented solutions without down time.
