The Very Best Under-Eye Products That Actually Work

From serums to eye patches, we’ve tracked down the very best eye treatments which actually do help lift, lighten and hydrate.

Not all eye creams deliver and some serums leave watery residue under the eye area, making concealer and foundation application a little awkward. And with many products promising to deliver the best in ant-wrinkle, hydration and dark spot remover; in truth, most on the market just don’t work in doing anything at all.

Well, we have great news. We have tracked, tried and reviewed A LOT of products to give you the very best, which we believe will help solve any of your under-eye concerns.

Let’s start with Serums:

June Jacobs Cellular Collagen Eye Serum ($110) protects the delicate skin under your eye from environmental toxins and combats the visible signs of premature aging. It works to plump up fine lines and hydrate the under-eye area. This serum does take a minute or two to sink in, so do wait until it’s fully absorbed before applying moisturiser, to ensure you skin has soaked up all the goodness.

Eye Gels:

Peter Thomas Roth Instant Firm X Eye Gel ($58) instantly transforms the under-eye area to smooth away fine wrinkles, making the skin look firm and plump. Loaded with Vitamin C and E to help treat any ongoing issues under the eye. June Jacobs Revitalising Eye Gel ($96) is another great eye gel which helps treat fine lines by plumping the skin, whilst reducing puffiness. Like serums, gels can be watery in nature, so do wait a minute or two before applying moisturiser.

Creams:

One of our fave eye creams is the Kale + Aloe, Sunflower Oil and Tripeptide 5 cream by Youth to the People ($45). This is a rich cream and perfect for those of us with super dry eyes. Especially in winter. Peter Thomas Roth have also releases some beauty creams which are ideal to combat any ageing issues around the eye area. Their Un-Wrinkle Eye Concentrate, Retinol Fusion PM Night Eye Cream and Intensive Anti-Aging Cream have all been designed to combat redness, dark circles and fine lines. Creams are easy under the eye too, as they absorb quickly. So no need to wait too long before moisturising.

Due for release in late September in Sephora stores across Australia, IT Cosmetics will be launching their revolutionery skincare products; which includes an awesome Eye Cream called Confidence in an Eye Cream. This cream brightens, repairs and transforms even the driest of eyes, prepping the skin for pre and post makeup.

If you’re looking to brighten your eyes then you will love the Antipodes Manuka Honey Sun-Brightening Eye Cream ($43.99). the Manuka Honey component of this cream nourishes the eye area by reducing inflammation and providing extra hydration to freshen under the eye.

Finishing off with Eye Patches:

At night, when you chilling in the bath or relaxing on the couch either watching television or fave YouTuber, try one of these deliciously rich and nourishing eye patches to help treat the under-eye area and provide a deeper treatment of vitamins, minerals and hydration. We are obsessing over the 24K Gold Pure Luxury Lift & Firm Eye Patches ($93) and Cucumber De-Tox Hydra Gel Eye Patches ($69) by Peter Thomas Roth.

Medik8 have just recently launched their incredible r-Retinoate Rejuvenating Eye System in Australia ($209.50). This is a revolutionary new Vitamin A rich product which has been clinically proven to be 8 x stronger than that of other retinol products. And, it can be used both morning and night, without causing any irritation. We used it and we love it.
