Clean food in Bali? Yep, here:

Here are 4 places with super clean food in Bali:

Sisterfields: This gem of a place is better than most Sydney restaurants purporting to serve similar food. The menu is one of the best I’ve seen in Bali, with at least 10 modern, clean breakfast options including Spanish poached eggs and crispy Quinoa, Scrambled eggs and salmon and smashed avocado with tomato on wholegrain.

Smoothies are sugar and milk-free, the coffee is amazing and almond milk is available, and lunch and dinner menus are brilliant. There are vege options available, as well as great paleo dishes. The setting is casual, and the only negative here are the ques – be prepared to wait up to an hour.

Revolver: This cafe style restaurant is hidden down a secluded lane, and you walk into a dungeon-like basement to find a cafe with a broad menu, and brimming with people at all hours of the day.

There are loads of healthy choices from chicken salads with pine nuts to healthy burgers and amazing brownies (maybe not so clean, but super tasty). Great juices, (watch the sugar – ask for none to be added), and if your’e into cofee, it’s good here.

Cocoon: Dinner here is a treat – especially desserts, which are some of the best in Bali. Entrees include yellow fin tuna tartare, beetroot, rocket and feta salad, and rib eye steaks, grilled barramundi, salmon,  and whole baby chicken for mains, with loads of vegetable and salad options as sides.

The white interiors, and location opposite the beach on the edge of Seminyak, make it the perfect place to wind down after a busy day holidaying.

Desa Seni: There are people who fly to Bali just to eat at Desa Seni. It’s actually a full blown health retreat, where you can stay, have a massage or spend the day. It has an organic restaurant serving food grown and freshly picked from the on-site gardens.

There would only be a handful of restaurants globally with food as fresh, healthy and tasty as this. Tomatoe gazpacho for example is not blended, but rather a fibre- filled soup brimming with small pieces of flavoursome vegetables in a cool tomato broth. Sounds complicated, but tastes clean and delicious. A must – do for health freaks.
