Sydney played host to some amazing launches to kick start Autumn in the City.

Press Play Cosmetics:

This gorgeous PRESSPLAY cosmetic case is set to revolutionise travel and portable make-up. Launched at a gorgeous pink-themed breakfast by Swetty Betty, the hard cased cosmetics case carries 6 products including mascara, foundation and lipgloss (you choose) and there’s even a mirror and powder at the bottom. Shea Moisture:

Australia is expected to go crazy over this new natural beauty brand launched at a very glamorous breakfast at Chiswick. The American cult beauty brand Shea Moisture was launched in Australia recently, and the beauty editors are raving already. The natural, organic, fair trade beauty brand is run by one family, and has been since 1912 when Sofi Tucker, a widow with 5 children created it. Products are sustainably produced without sulphates or parabens. The event included hair stylists, massage therapists, a three course breakfast and plenty of testing of the new products.

The Body Shop #lifeistooshort launch:

Hosted by PR company One Day Dream and held in the beautiful garden like settings of Elizabeth Bay by the water in Sydney, The Body Shop launched their exciting new Body Butter range called Body Yogurt; ten times more nourishing for the skin than normal moisturisers. Guests enjoyed build-your-own brekkie with yogurts inspired by the new products (Strawberry, Coconut and Almond) and a selection of fresh fruits and granola that everybody could add to their bowl. Guest speakers were The Body Shop marketing & corporate responsibility director Shannon Jaquith Chrisp and The Body Shop brand manager Nikole Duong.

Anti Haircare Launch:

PR company Coote Connex hosted an incredible black and white themed lunch launch for New York haircare brand Anti; a stunning brand dedicated to both female and male hair of any types (dry, curly, straight and oily). Held at The Studio in Rosebery, guests were treated with Charcoal cone with spanner crab; calamari lollipops with squid ink; whipped goats cheese; crocodile tail; Steamed fish with squid ink dressing; white chocolate cheesecake; champagne and wine whilst listening to Founder Francesco Ruggerino
and Product developer Mercedes Orpin Steinfield chat about the new brand and product range.

Galleria The Rocks:

BB writers Marielle and Rebecca were treated to a night of whisky, wine and gin tasting at the Grand Opening of the newly revamped DFS Galleria at The Rocks. Spoilt with delicious foods and entertained by Sydney Dance Company, it was a nice night for the team to get spoilt and let their hair done on a Saturday Night.
